Living on campus and getting involved is simple at Concordia. The campus is small, having only about 2,000 students. So meeting people and becoming close with your professors is easy for almost everyone here. Also there are tons of events organized by the student council, ASCU. Just this month they've organized a free corn maze, free haunted house, free scary movie night, and free cosmic bowling. There also some events which require payment but they never cost more than $10. Such as the Sleeping Beauty Ballet, Portland Trailblazers games, and pro-hockey games. Volunteering is a requirement here at Concordia. You have to have at least 10 hours and sometimes more for other courses. Luckily, the school makes it so easy for you to get involved. There is always a service event going on that anyone can join. Also there is an on office full of people that are there specifically to help you find service projects that you will enjoy and that will also get you the hours you need. read full review
