I feel like I didn't learn anything in high school, but I love college! At Drake I feel like the professors really teach you the material and most make it interesting!

Drake is a close community of students with small class sizes and professors that always go the extra mile. Though Des Moines isn't always the most exciting city in the world, there are plenty of fun activities on campus, and Drake Relays is the place to be. Drake University has a tremendous amount of once-in-a-lifetime opportunities for all students, including world travel and internships. The professors are experts in their field, and are passionate. Drake does a great job of recruiting students and making them feel as though they will find a great deal of support and one-on-one assistance while attending the school, but they don't really follow up. Being that it is a small school and not very academically rigorous, the atmosphere is very laid-back and while this is a plus in terms of students' social experience, it's not exactly the ideal scenario for ambitious, motivated students hoping to make the most of the fortune their spending on an education.
