This is a retiree town so if you are under 21 no bar, clubs or other illegal fun, options for entertainment include the movie theater, ice rink, the granite dells across the road, and on-campus entertainment.

For fun there are campus events, a movie theater, a nice downtown area, and bars is you are 21. Also there are many outdoor activities that students partake in such as hiking, boating, and rock climbing.

Honestly I never have to make plans for weekends because usually on Friday nights the campus pays for entertainment such as a magician or a comedian to come onto campus for a show. There are also events held by the sororities and fraternities, as well as the on campus church called Chi Alpha. Chi Alpha is more than church though, it's overcoming obstacles such as climbing thumb butte or cliff jumping to explore what beauty the world has to offer.

The Prescott Campus has a lot to do for fun. You can go hiking on the weekends, camping, picnics. It's a very outdoor place, incase you like the indoor, there is a movie theater, bowling alleys, mall ..etc. Prescott also has very good restaurants, especially in the down town area.

You can go hiking almost anytime and Phoenix is only two hours from Prescott if you want to go to the city. Also, you can go skiing or snowboarding in Flagstaff if you want to, only like an hour and a half from Prescott. There is also a movie theatre in Prescott Valley (like 15 minutes away from campus), but that's about it.

Depending on what you enjoy, there are plenty of clubs and several fraternities and sororities on campus. The school, RHA, and Greek life all put on plenty of activities to stay busy every weekend if you do not want to join any organization. ERAU is also out of the city, so there is plenty outdoor activities. There are also plenty of gamers, modelers and other assorted nerds and geeks to pursue interests with. The only activities that are not at ERAU are city life. Prescott is a relatively small city at 10,000 people, so be prepared. That said, there is plenty of shopping centers and Phoenix is two hours south.

Embry-Riddle is located in a small town, so there is very little to do. However, there is a lot of outside adventures to be had. You can hike, cliff dive, go for a bike ride, take a run, or go out on the lake located maybe 10 miles from the campus. It is a great place to go downtown and explore the shops and see the local people and experience a small town, especially if you are from a large town. There's always something to be done and even more so if you have friends who are up to try anything.
