    Sign up for your classes early! Due to the smaller sizes, classes fill up quick. Always visit your professors during office hours; building a relationship with them will help you to better understand the class curriculum.

    Take advantage of joiner colleges, such as Pierce College, because not only will you receive a cheaper education the first two years of college, but a higher chance of transferring and being accepted into a four year university. Pierce has many programs and course to academically prepare you for a four year university.

    Arrive early for better parking. Since the classes always get full easily, try coming in the first day of class and crash some of the classes you want to get in. DO NOT GIVE UP.
