OUR MISSION is the search for truth, the discovery and sharing of knowledge, the fostering of personal and professional excellence, the promotion of a life of faith, and the development of leadership expressed in service to others. All this we pursue for the greater glory of God and the common benefit of the human community. OUR VISION is to provide a Catholic, Jesuit education that is genuinely transformational, so that our students graduate not simply better educated but better people, and to do so with such excellence that when asked to name the three or four best Catholic universities in America, people will include Marquette as a matter of course.

The small campus atmosphere was amazing. I loved seeing people I knew when just walking down the streets. Wisconsin Ave has almost all main bus lines going down it so it's easy to get anywhere in Milwaukee right from campus. And they just got a Sobelman's on campus!!

Whether or not you enjoy Marquette depends on a lot of factors. For example the student themselves. Is the student very social and talkative then they should have no problem networking and making friends. However if the student doesn't intentionally put themselves out there and its hard for them to socialize then they really need to pick a social dorm perhaps to live in. McCormick is a freshman dorm and it is very social and usually the best pick for students to socialize and mingle, however there are other dorms open to freshman that aren't as socially heightened as McCormick.

Marquette has a great atmosphere. There's always something to do in the city and tons of people to do it with. I've made so many great friends during my time here who I'll continue to be friends with long after my college days are over. The campus is beautiful and there's always a quiet place to study or read.
