On campus events. Organizations and volunteer work. All you need is a close knit group of friends, and everything should be fine. Popularity is not what is important.

They have lots of activities going on on campus and they encourage students to join some kind of sport, club, or activity for they offer just about everything you could imagine.

There are an abundance of options for fun on campus. From the copious options of sports teams; both ODU teams, as well as, intramural teams. There is also something going on, especially on the weekends. The campus hosts and sponsors several events throughout the year such as Relay for Life, several 5k's, Water/Color Festival, Strength Contests, etc. There are also several clubs, pretty much anything you are interested in has a club. And if it doesn't, you can form one!

For fun, I usually hang out with friends around campus, enjoy our private beaches, and the multitude of on-campus activities ODU has to offer.

Go watch the Men's basketball and football games!

The beach is less than 30 minutes away as well as various venues in the surrounding areas where concerts are always happening. Downtown Norfolk is also full of various activities.

Old Dominion always has something to do. It's only minutes away from the beach, it's right inside the city of Norfolk (shopping mall, concert venues, fine dining, etc.,) and the campus is always pumped. Homecoming week is something you CANNOT miss!

There are a lot of things to do for fun on campus. Every weekend, the Student Advisory Council plans something fun for everyone so there is no need to worry that anyone will ever be bored while on campus. The campus is also close to downtown Norfolk, the beach, and Busch Gardens, which opens doors for nonstop fun.
