After I graduated from High School I knew that going to a community college was my only option. A lot of people told me that it would be High School all over again, and I believed them that were until I finished my first year of college and started my second year. My First year was really a transition year and I realized that the material cover is at a much more quicker pace as well as more difficult, but my second year was when I really started learning more about myself. Pasadena City College has been one of the best life experiences I've had. Only because the staff is supportive, I learn from the college campus clubs, and we always have banquets with great food! The campus is diverse and the teachers really care about the students overall success.

There is a plethora of student clubs and organizations so I would advise students to get involved because networking opportunities are vast and worth it. The Shatford library is not only beautiful, but also a quiet and resourceful place to be productive.

Pasadena City College (PCC) has various programs for its students such as the study abroad program in Italy as well as programs for African American students. There are also plenty of sports teams and clubs so there are a ton of venues that students can use to get plugged into the school!
