Good school to start off your college experience with, especially if going to community college doesn't make sense to you as for me. Laid-back, easy-going feel for your freshman year, which helps to get accustomed to a new surrounding. Sports teams are easier to make, as I made the swim and tennis team at Delhi with no prior experience in either sport, besides just recreational. Cool clubs and different array of people.

SUNY Delhi is a beautiful place. Green trees and grass everywhere, nice scenary during all seasons, but the school is located on a very large hill. To walk to town is a hassle and to walk back up is VERY exhausting. Delhi is in the middle of nowhere and the closest mall is nearly an hour away. There are a few stores nearby like a dollar store and a supermarket, a MacDonald's, a Pizza hut and few other things. The gym is located at the very top of the campus and of course that's a journey itself just to get up there. Seems like a lot of construction is going on as the years go on, but it's for the better.

Everyone seems very friendly and willing to answer any questions asked. Although it may be a distance from home and Delhi is a relatively small town, it makes room for new friends to be made.
