    Student accounts is a thorn in everyone's side here. Many peoples accounts get unexplained charges put on them. And the system the school uses won't allow the employees to show the students where their money has gone.

    If you graduate as a Licensed Merchant Marine Officer, you will enjoy the best starting salaries in the nation. Its also a state school so the cost of attendance is the same as any other SUNY School.

    job placement is almost guaranteed if you graduate from maritime. so in our economy, it is well worth it to get a degree from maritime. also, if you go on summer sea term, you get to travel all over the world with your friends.
