    Join clubs and/or organizations and engage in community service as much as possible. Being involved on and off campus is what will truly make your experience at Sonoma State Univeristy the most memorable and enjoyable. Take on leadership roles and make a difference in you community and you will make a difference upon yourself in the process. You are guaranteed to grow as a person and meet amazing people, faculty and staff along the way by getting involved.

    If you are planning in majoring in psychology, nursing, or business you should assign that as your major immediately, as these majors tend to be very hard to get into and pretty impacted.

    If you like small colleges, this is the choice for you! It has great major programs and every teacher is great! The tuition is small comparable to other universities but the benefits are enormous!

    Come visit the town and see what you think, if you like a fun town with a cool downtown area and lots of college kids walking around, SSU is probably not the best place.
