If you are planning on staying the dorms, I would suggest looking into other options based on the price factor (1000+/month). The teachers here are super smart but down to earth, they actually have life experience and don't just rely on books to teach us.

SOU is costly and student groups, faculty, and staff are currently trying to work with the state of Oregon to reduce the cost. For out-of-state students with the WUE Scholarship, which is very easy to receive, it is about $10,000 a year if you live on campus. For Oregon students, it is on average between $8-9,000 a year.
