  • Sep-10-2011 I am a past student here

Being an out-of-state student coming into Texas, I was worried about being an outsider. But really, the faculty is there to help. When I went to tour the school back in 2010, prospective students (and parents, alike) would come strike up a conversation with my mother and I. It was such a welcoming environment. Furthermore, everyone here wants to have fun, but learn as much as they can. It makes for a fun environment when you can go socialize with friends on the weekend and then study with the same friends during weekdays or finals. Having such eager classmates made finals week a breeze!
