Campus Life

The many dining halls, restaurants and cafes offer a delicious variety of food! There is always something for everyone! UCLA has wonderful healthy options, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free.

The food is pretty good. But, umm with all sincerity you definitely start to miss home-made food after a while!

During my admit weekend with Afrikan Student Association, we got a taste of the food and man the food is delicious!!! I grew up on African food and didn't really like most American food because it was too sweet or tasteless to me ( no offense, I'm used to spicy food) but I was surprised at the food at UCLA. It was delicious and you get a lot of healthy options to prevent that freshman 15 weight gain plus all the walking to classes you'll do

Food is amazing.

There are many places to dine on campus, and they serve any kind of food you can think of. It is a little expensive, though.

Dorm food is really good for dorm food. It is buffet style.

UCLA is located in one of the best areas in Los Angeles, with Santa Monica to the West and Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, and Hollywood to the East, you're sure to find lots of fine dinning and cusine and all price ranges. LA is so diverse so you are bound to find food from all over the world everywhere you go. The Persian restaurants on Westwood are a must try!

The dining hall food is great, considering dorm food is generally thought to be terrible. There's a great variety and the all-you-can-eat dining halls are a great deal.

We're number 4 in the nation, I think that speaks for itself.

Greeks at UCLA are very involved, and role models on campus. They participate in many philanthropic events, and are a very close-knit group, supporting each other.

Many different Fraternities and Sororities that take pride in who they are.

Not necessary to be in a sorority or frat to party.

As a member of the Greek community, I can definitely say that the Greek life is great. The houses are really close to campus (sororities are closer than the dorms!) and are all on the same street, which is fun. Being a part of a sorority has given me some of my best memories here and I highly recommend it. Even as I write this, I'm sitting in the living room of my house waiting to see what lunch will be for today... it's pretty great and you make some really close friends.

I haven't partaken in it, but I think there's a place for everyone. Some organizations focus on academics, and others on social events. Like I said, you'll find your place.

Greek life is huge at UCLA, hosting many events and provides a particular social setting for those who are interested.

Be careful about which frat you choose, and spend some time researching before and during rush times. You don't want to get netted into a time-consuming frat that you can't handle.

My roommate is in a top house and she loves it. It's very difficult to get into some, but it's worth it. However it's very expensive.
