The people I have met are great and really friendly, the professors included. Although you are in the middle of cornfields, there are still many things you can do here, not to mention the many football, basketball, volleyball, etc games!

But then I grew to appreciate the college campus, student diversity, and interesting classes that I could take if I wanted to challenge myself more. Since there are so many people, you can wish to make as many friends as you please. Even though it is a big school, you can make it feel small and more intimate with a close circle of friends.

There is a limited amount of things to do off campus but the campus itself offers a ton of good activities to keep oneself busy. I like the college life a lot and UofI has a great college life.
