    I love being at UMM. The small town atmosphere helps the students there make friends. I have found myself missing UMM over breaks because I feel as though Machias is where I belong. I have become part of a family, and it seems like everyone else feels the same. There are many activities on campus that everyone is welcome to. We have mens and womens soccer, basketball, and cross country. We also have womens volleyball. There is nothing like cheering on your team! There are many organizations to join as well! I am part of one of many Greek organizations and part of UMM's drama club, Thespis Players. Even though it is a small town something is always going on at UMM!
