» Read MoreBecause the school is located in Seattle, there are many touristy things to do and see, such as the space needle and pike's market place. If you're from out of town, seeing these places are a must. However, if you're from the area, there are still lots of happenings in and around campus. The HUB has activities such as bowling, video games, pool, and table tennis. The IMA also provides outdoor activities like canoeing.

» Read MoreThankfully the campus is right next to downtown so there is always something to do. To name a few, you can run on trails, canoe, go to the zoo, go to the aquarium, Fremont flea market, go to the Metro movie theater, dance performances/plays, and various events throughout the year.
» Read MoreJoin clubs because there are a lot of talented students to work with. Go to the parties, they are fun as well as a way to interact with different people who you don't see everyday in campus.
» Read MoreThe University of Washington requires every student to pay for a bus pass, which is placed onto their student card. As a result, all the attractions of Downtown Seattle are at your fingertips, including the famous Pike Place Market, the Art Museum, and International District. If you want to stay a little closer to home, you can go to a football or basketball game, which are some of the favorite events. If you don't enjoy these sports, or perhaps want something cheaper, there are a variety of other options, including free-sporting events, choir and band concerts, and free events at the HUB (Husky Union Building).
