At Tech the professors have experience in the fields in which they teach so not only do the provide book lessons, but also life lessons. As a double major in Communication and Theater Arts and a Spanish minor i get a very diverse exposure to different classes. Within both my majors the departments ask for students to take classes within the major that is outside of our concentration, which provides students with a chance to get a glimpse of different aspects of the major, and even if there is no interest in the other aspects, students can develop an appreciation for the other parts of the major. read full review

The thing that makes Virginia Tech stand out in comparison to other colleges is the spirit. It's impossible to go one day at Tech and not see one or more students or faculty members wearing maroon and orange. When I came for my tour of the college we got lost and a student helped us find the check-in building. There are a lot of nice people here, the teachers are great, and the football games are amazing! read full review
