Make sure to take time and visit Walsh University on a tour. The atmosphere and friendly people are what make WU a home for so many students. The beautiful, well-maintained campus is relatively small, which makes it convenient and easy to get where you need to be. The campus, located in North Canton, Ohio, is close to several malls and has a grocery store right across from the university. There are study abroad opportunities offered many times throughout the year for anyone with the desire to travel. Though the curriculum may be challenging, the knowledge and experience gained will be well worth the efforts. Faculties of all sorts are very willing to make time for their students, so never be afraid to ask questions or advice. Since it is a private university, the cost may be intimidating, but don't let that stop you. The financial aid office will help with scholarships and making sure you get the experience you deserve. Walsh is also a Catholic university that has a chapel right on campus that put on many activities for anyone who may be interested; however, the university is open to all denominations. In addition, Walsh offers opportunities to play in a wide variety of sports and/or participate in many clubs and organizations. read full review

When choosing a college it is crucial to find one that best suits your personal learning style. Do you like one-on-one attention? Is it important for teachers and staff to remember you? Do you want to feel safe, secure and at home on campus? These are all important questions to ask yourself, and if these values are important Walsh may be the school for you.

I am a transfer student here at Walsh, taking in the most rewarding experience of my life. I chose this school because of their academics paying specail attention to their nursing and physical therapy programs. In class I am better absorbing material than i did at my previous university. In fact I feel that I am learning on a deeper level because if I am having trouble I can easily find someone to clarify the material. The staff truly cares about your education. read full review
