I have to say that Washburn lacks in the social arena. Although, there are some campus things to do and to be involved in, social opportunities in the local area are limited. But at this point for me, my focus is on my academics; therefore I am content.

Everywhere you go, everyone is constantly smiling and almost always saying hello. The freshman are not treated as the new kids on the block. They are treated as if they have been there for years themselves. Washburn constantly has events that anyone is allowed to come and participate in to get invovled, and they are enjoyable too.
