I have heard that the science classes are the same level and transfer the same way for Whatcom as well as Western, so take them at Whatcom because they are way easier and cheaper and you learn the same amount.

It is a nice, good sized campus with adequate amenities and friendly students. The classes are definitely college level classes and can be challenging-- you have to work for your grade in some of them. It is located in Bellingham, which is a fairly liberal university town that also contains WWU.

I enjoy attending Whatcom Community College. I feel very comfortable there, I like that I know my way around. I like that the expectations the teachers have aren't like a university, it is simple to follow along and I feel set up for success.

Excellent school with good teachers and classes with 30 students or less usually allowing for more student teacher interaction. WCC also has good technical and computer facilities available to students and students receive $15 dollars on their student card for printing homework on campus computers. Finally it is only a 10 or 15 min drive from anywhere in bellingham, WA.
