Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot You always learn a lot when you step in the class room! However you should be prepared to be challenged. Most classes are interesting because the students have many questions, so there are lots of discussions during the semester.
Am enjoying being here Being at Central Bible College is like a second home for me. I love it here! Your build awesome relationships with those around you and some you will keep for a lifetime. CBC is not in the middle of the country, wal-mart is 3 minutes away, gas stations are closer and there are fast food places everywhere. There are always people to hang out with and things to do. I believe the best part for me is the park that CBC owns, it is on campus. The park is very relaxing with its creek, two ponds and mini waterfall.
Bang for the buck This school is not the cheapest but it is also not the most expensive. I believe it is well worth it. I am paying about $16,000 per year (not semester); although, it is a burden I can already see the effects this school has had on my life.
Tips for prospective students Do not be afraid to be yourself. There will be obstacles and some people will challenge you but you can not let it get you down. Always try to have a positive attitude. Bring as many quarters as you can for laundry! Finally, become the leader you were meant to be. There are many opportunities when you go to school. When you learn something new, take it in, and use it to impact some one's life in the present not the future.
Great for these types of students This school is for students who have a God given call placed on their lives. Those who are going into ministry and want hands-on experience before they get their degree should definitely check out Central. Also listen to God and He will direct you in the way you should go.

Categories Rating Comments Will learn a lot Talking with the President of the University and his wife you really get to see their passion for this university. Their hearts are really beautiful. I will all heads would be as kind as them
Will enjoy being here Even though my classes do not start till August, they have really helped me feel welcome. They have sent me letters and lots of information. They have lots of on campus activities, including a lounge room on every floor!
Bang for the buck The price is around 10,000. That seems quite reasonable. The campus is wi-fi with DSL in the rooms. You have vending machienes, libraries, and hang out spots.
Tips for prospective students CBC is really good about helping students. They want what is best for the kids, and they show it. Apply for as much as you can. There are many scholarship and credit opportunities. Why not apply? What can you loose.
Great for these types of students Kids that really, truly want to make a difference. By touching a heart you have the posibility to change the destiny of that family. Why not equipe yourself to change a life. :)

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot I have learned so much going to this school. I have been learning a lot about theology and what the bible means in context and how to love people.
Am enjoying being here I enjoy the atmosphere here the school is smaller. The teachers are very personal and you can see that they care and want to help you to well in life.
Bang for the buck The school is cheap. The teachers there could be making more money but they are there because they love just teaching us. The school also helps with helping students that can't afford it by giving us some resources.
Tips for prospective students If you decide to come to this school. I would say that the school is what they make it. If you apply yourself then you can make and do great and that the new life in college is great and the people there are a lot of help to talk to you.
Great for these types of students This college is great for people that are looking for a good school to grow closer to God and learn more about the Bible.

Categories Rating Comments Will learn a lot I have already seen the campus and I loved it. I sat in a friend's class and I really enjoyed it! The professors were really nice and they really wanted you to grasp the concept.
Will enjoy being here When I went to visit the campus I really loved it there. It was so peaceful for being in the middle of Springfield. The people there were so nice, I have already started making friends! The chapels were the best part because you got to experience God every day and get to know him on a more personal level. The campus is not that big so you get to know a lot of the people who go there.
Bang for the buck The tuition is less than the neighboring Evangel. The tuition has gone up, but it is still less expensive than a lot of colleges/universities. It will be over 16,000 a year! (not semester) They also offer a lot of wonderful loan opportunities.
Tips for prospective students Focus on your studies and on God. Try not to get too busy or you will get overwhelmed (especially your first year). You will also have to do an internship after your junior year/before your senior year. This will really help you experience what you will be doing when you graduate from college.
Great for these types of students This college is great for people who don't like large colleges and like a college that's not too expensive. It is also great for students who love to experience God and who love to live for the Lord.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences Central Bible College is rated a C+. It is consolidating into a school called Evangel University within the next two years so there are a lot of options that are no longer available here on campus. You will get the education you are seeking though because the professors are great.
Tips for prospective students I would not choose to attend here, because the consolidation will not allow you to receive a degree from this college.
Academic Rigor The professors challenge you, but they will also walk beside you to help you in any way possible. This is a smaller campus, so the professors are more personalbe, and know most students by name. Here you are encouraged to strive for excellence.
Dorm Life The dorms are very old. The resident advisors do go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable in the dorms though. The halls tend to bond together alot. It is not easy to get over looked in the dorms.
Food and Dining The food choices are repetitive each week for the most part. The dining commons do have special nights where they create special meals for the campus. On a normal basis, there is not much variety though.
What to do for fun The school offers a gym, and outside basket ball court for those that are interested in playing. The school has a tennis court, racquetball court, and a pond for fishing.
Bang for the buck It is a very cheap school, but the education you get from it is more than what you paid for. It is really worth every penny.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus The school offers a competition called battle of the dorms. Here the school has eating contests, contests of strength, speed, and endurance. At the end of it all, one hall receives an award, plus a pizza party!
Great for these types of students This school is great for Bible focused students that are looking for a more personal environment to grow in faith as well as knowledge of the Bible.
Clubs and Activities The school offers worship teams, drama teams, dance teams, and student government positions.
Greek Life There are none on campus.
Campus Safety I actually work for security on campus and can say that the guards do a fine job at patrolling the grounds and making sure that everyone stay protected.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences Central Bible College is a fantastic college not only for the level of learning that they provide but also for the habitat for spiritual growth that they provide. The professors are always there to help any student no matter who they are. The entire campus is a family.
Tips for prospective students Strive to do your best and never let yourself slide by. Do all the reading and do not procrastinate. Never be afraid to ask any professor or the pastors to help you.
Academic Rigor There is a lot of reading for the classes but the reading really adds to your learning and understanding of the subject. The classes are not easy but the professors are there to help you to succeed.
Dorm Life The dorm life is wonderful! There are always girls there to help you when you are struggling and you bond so much with them. I have created some of the strongest relationships while being there. The RA's and RD's are always there to help but you also create a strong relationship with them.
Food and Dining The food is not always the greatest but there is variety. You can either go to the cafeteria or to Zee's which serves hamburgers and grilled chicken sandwiches as well as a daily special.
What to do for fun There are several coffee shops around the area with a variety of different venues. There is also an ice skating rink, a roller skating rink, a few movie theaters, and several parks.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences I could not ask for a better college than Central Bible College. At Central, you can get a very awesome education and experience the presence of God wherever you go. Yes, it is a small campus but that lets you get to know more people and develop life long friendships.
Tips for prospective students Students who are wanting to experience a college that is focused on Christ, this is the place for you.
Academic Rigor The classes can be tough but with the discipline you can maintain good grades. The professors work with you and make sure that you are doing well in their class.

Food and Dining The food is better tan many schools. It is all you can eat so that is always a plus.
What to do for fun There are many different things that you can do for fun. You can always go fishing, there is a small pond on campus and there fishing tournaments close by. But getting to go out and fellowship and minister on the weekends is always an awesome experience.
