Categories Rating Comments Will learn a lot Chestnut Hill College is a place where students are very close to students, the class size average is 20-25 students per class. The teachers are very available and that can help the students to imporve their skill by getting assistance from teachers in or after class.
Will enjoy being here The fun part at Chestnut Hill College is that you know most of the people in there, because it is a very small campus and more than 50% of student in there. Its been said that it is one the most beautiful campuses on the U.S.
Bang for the buck There are so many ways to get some financial aid, and the financial aid office will help you find find those ways, and in someway or another you will make it.
Tips for prospective students Talk to the counselors, they're great and very friendly. It is the best campus, the people there are very friendly and they assist you in such a nice way.
Great for these types of students In my opinion this college is for students who want to be something in life, for someone who wants to be successful. Chestnut Hill is my key for my success in life, and it could be it for many others.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot I've only completed my first semester, but my course load was a nice transition into college. The classes were not extremely difficult, but I expect them to become more challenging as I continue in my college career. All of my classes are small, which I love. It's a really nice learning environment and all of my teachers are really friendly and helpful.
Am enjoying being here I love the campus. I think the people make the school. Everyone is really nice and fun and it's really easy to make friends. Chestnut Hill is located in the suburbs, but it's also fairly close to the city, which is nice because it's like the best of both worlds. The campus is just a really fun place to be. If there isn't anything to do on campus or in nearby Chestnut Hill, you can always hop on the train and go into Center City.
Bang for the buck Everyone gets financial aid, which is why a lot of people choose the school in the first place. It was definitely a big factor for me. The school is extremely expensive, but after you calculate all of the financial aid you'll get, it isn't too horribly pricey.
Tips for prospective students Make sure you know how big the school is. There are roughly 900 students at Chestnut Hill, which isn't a lot. A lot of people don't realize how small that number is until they actually get here and they end up hating it because it's soooo boring and there's nothing to do! It's a small school, so know what you're getting yourself into. I really like the smallness. I feel like it was easier to make friends and adjust to the school in general. Definitely consider the size of the school, if anything.
Great for these types of students Chestnut Hill isn't for people who are looking to party nonstop. Come on, it isn't Penn State. If you're looking on getting an education and learning and meeting new people and having fun in a small, close-knit environment, then this is the school for you.

Categories Rating Comments Did learn a lot The teachers were very helpful. It also depends on the teacher that you have. They all have different teaching methods. The classes are very small. The most you would probably have in a class at one time would be up to 25. Since it was so small, you could have more of a 1 on 1 with the teachers and also for tutoring. You can also tutor with students.
Did enjoy being here They always tell you ghost stories. And me being me, I am afraid of ghosts. Other than that, you'll make a lot of friends. The school is very athletic and theatrical. Quidditch is also something that you should try getting into. You may say it sounds nerdy, but I played my freshman year there and in the Quidditch World Cup & let me tell you, that you WILL make friends from throughout your school and the other schools that you compete against. AND THE PLACE LOOKS LIKE HOGWARTS & THEIR MASCOT IS A GRIFFIN!
Bang for the buck It is on the expensive side, but it is the same price for everyone: in-state and out-of-state.
Tips for prospective students Don't seclude yourself. Go out and there and make new friends. I still have the ones from when I went.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot With all the great professors at Chestnut Hill College. I have learned so much and carry what I have learned with me everyday.
Am enjoying being here I enjoy going to class everyday and seeing all the great people along with it. Classes are very enjoyable. They are small enough to feel comfortable sharing personal thoughts and opinions.
Bang for the buck Chestnut Hill College is pretty expensive. There are so many thing that they could do for the amount of money a student pays a year. Parking lot during the winter is horrible. Being a commuter and on the days weather is bad, they lack communication for people who live close and far away. Even general communication for important papers that need to be turned in for your major. They lack communication skills and when they do want to send you something. It sometimes does not pertain to you.
Tips for prospective students You need to on the ball. Talk to your advisor whenever you get the chance. Don't wait til the last minute for imformation.
Great for these types of students Who enjoy quiet and small classes.
