Tips for prospective students It is all about connections. Try to make friends with the upperclassmen
Food and Dining There is no cafeteria unfortunately. You have to prepare your own food or go buy it yourself.
What to do for fun Play video games, pool, etc. Attending some of the many activities our ASB (assistant student body) provides.
Great for these types of students Do you consider yourself a nerd? We take pride in being one in this college
Clubs and Activities Battle club, Friday Night Magic, Music Jam, etc
Campus Safety The campus is small, so there is no fear of getting lost or attacked.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences A really great school for the field of animation, concept art, 3d modeling, and much more. A lot of one on one time with the teachers is really helpful. Teachers here are amazing, they are real masters at their work.
Tips for prospective students If you are thinking of going into the field of game design you should definitly consider cogswell. Not a lot of girls and a lot of nerds so be prepared but thats not what your going to school for anyway right. Talk to some of the people of cogswell they are all friendly and would tell you exactly what the school is like, great.
Academic Rigor They assignments for the school are fairly simple and they are actually fun to do. They may take a little while to complete but you learn a lot while working on them.
Dorm Life Well actually there is no dorm but they have housing in apartments. My experience with the housing is great. The school really tries to pair you with people similar to yourself and are very good at it. I will admit there was a problem at one point but it was easily solved and quickly.
Food and Dining Food and Dining does not apply to this school. You buy your own food in you apartment.
What to do for fun The housing advisors are always finding fun things to do with everyone and schedualing trips to fun places. Even if you are not in housing the school is always schedualing fun activities as well.
Bang for the buck I would say it is well worth the money especially since some of the teachers here are phonominal. Plus it is pretty cheap compared to others school where you wouldnt get the one on one time like here.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus A cool tradition of the school is that they let you paint on the walls if your painting is acceptable to the school. It gives you a way to leave your mark for future cogswell students to see.
Great for these types of students If you are a nerdy kind of student you already belong here. Also if you like working on programs like maya and photoshop then you also should come here. If you are even considering a career in game development you should also definitly come here.
Clubs and Activities There are many clubs at cogswell. You can even make your very own club if you wanted. A great activity that the school seniors do is make short animations and enter them into film festivals.
Greek Life I dont think this applies to this school mostly because I dont even know exactly what it is.
Campus Safety Campus safety is the best I've seen. Everyone at the school looks after one another since it is such a small school and everyone more or less gets along.
