Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot I am currently a full time student, enrolled in 4 classes; (12 credits.)
Marketing Communications, Introduction to College Mathematics,
Social Problems, and Lighting and Sound Production.
Each class has it's ups and downs, just like any class, but I am learning quite a bit from every one.Am enjoying being here While CCRI isn't exactly my dream college, I have found that I am enjoying school much more than I thought I would. Attending CCRI has also opened doors for me, and allowed me to explore my interests.
Bang for the buck CCRI has excellent teachers, for which the school is highly underrated. I have not come across a single bad professor here, and I hear relatively few stories about them.
Tips for prospective students As a current student, my advice to any prospective students would be to apply for a tutor in any subjects you may have trouble in as soon as the course starts. It will help you with your grades, and as a result keep you happy. Also, talk to Frank (the guy who wanders around talking to everyone.) He's cool. :)
Great for these types of students CCRI is great for anyone who wants to get a higher education, but may not be ready to move away from home, and/or is on a tight budget.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences I attended the Community College of RI for a high school running start program in which I earned college credits in place of my senior highschool year. I would reccommend this opportunity to any high school junior looking to accelerate their college process as it provided a great low cost opportunity to receive many general studies and elective credits that would otherwise cost much more at a university.
Tips for prospective students Consider summer courses, and check into all campus locations to find the one most convenient to your schedule.
Food and Dining Average Cafeteria Food

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences the majority of the teachers show they do career about the success of students and are passionate about their jobs. the low student to teacher ration allows teacher to apply effort for each individual. ccri's lost classes are an excellent choice to get your life started.
Tips for prospective students students should really focus on keeping their grades high. putting in a little extra effort academic can really pay off when it matters.
Food and Dining the quality of food is actually very good considering it is a community college. i purchace food there atleast twice a week.
What to do for fun at ccri we have many international and fund raising nights. many times student goverment will provide its students with free pizza and activities to do.
Bang for the buck the quality of classes at ccri rellative to the cost of classes is top of the line. you could not ask for better education at the low price ccri offers.
Clubs and Activities all sorts of different types of clubs for any type of student if they are interested. there is a gym and a basketball court that students can use as they please.
Campus Safety excellent, there are next to no crimes on campus each month and my safety never feels compromised while there.

Categories Rating Comments Academic Rigor in this college the way that subjects are taught to us are in a fun and exciting way. everything is geared towards us being able to take in the knowledge that is being taught to us. the teachers really know how to keep the attention of the students.
Dorm Life in the community college of rhode island there are no dorm rooms. i think that it is much better that way, it is only a community college there is really no reason for one there.
Food and Dining i do not eat the food at the community college or rhode island. i am a very picky eater and i do not really like any of the food that they are serving there. on top of that i am only there two days a week so i don't really have time to eat anything.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences all of the clubs are fun and active within the school. advisers are very little help, but some professors are willing to meet with you to talk about your major. over all, a great junior college experience.
Tips for prospective students join as many cubs as you can manage. they are a great way to kill time between classes and a great social experience.
Academic Rigor like any college, the rigor of classes depends on the professor.
Dorm Life dorms and campus housing are not offered.
Food and Dining the food in the school is over priced and very low quality.
What to do for fun the student government constantly has events in the common areas and clubs are a great form of entertainment.
Bang for the buck the tuition is cheap and the experience is what you make it. the more active you are in the school, the better experience you will have.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus there is always something interesting going on in the all clubs area. the only way you know about it is too be in a club.
Great for these types of students anyone looking to complete general education requirements at a low cost.
Clubs and Activities there are clubs to suit any interest and major. if you cant find one that you like, it is a simple process to start one.
Campus Safety security likes to stay in their office since the campus is safe to being with.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences I am getting ready to start the second semester of the Nursing program at CCRI. I think they need to streamline their admittance procedure so that you don't wait 9 months between finishing your prerequisites and beginning the Nursing program.
Tips for prospective students If you are aiming to get into one of the Allied Health programs, make sure you get good grades in your prerequisite courses! You don't want to waste your time and money having to repeat courses because you didn't get a good grade the first time you took the class.
Academic Rigor The academic rigor depends on the professor. Ask around before you register for classes. Don't take the easy way out - you get out of class what you put into it! The anatomy and physiology classes are the foundation of the Nursing program, if you don't learn anything it will come back to haunt you.
Dorm Life not applicable
Food and Dining The food is hit or miss at the Flanagan campus. I have never eaten at the Warwick campus.
What to do for fun Sorry, I go to school and leave :)
