    Lincoln Land is a diverse school with a lot of friendly people. All of the instructors really care about you, and want you to succeed. Lincoln Land is a great start to any college career.
    Tips for prospective students

    Get to class on time. Do not skip class, the more you are there the more you know! Read over everything very carefully so you can understand presented material. Also take advantage of the library and writing center.

    Some Instructors are a bit more tough than others but as a whole the school cares a lot about each and everyone succeeding.
    Dorm Life

    There is none here at Lincoln Land but there are several nearby apartment complexes that are very nice.
    Food and Dining

    Nelson's Catering is served on campus and is delicious. We also have a subway which is always fresh.
    Bang for the buck

    Extremely cheap school compared to other colleges and universities. You basically will have no debt when you graduate, so that is always a plus.

    Great for students who like small classrooms. Also great for people with busy schedules.

    You can get involved with just about anything at Lincoln Land, from sports to clubs, we have it all.
    Campus Safety

    The campus on Lincoln Land is very safe. The Lincoln Land police are constantly patrolling campus making everyone feel extremely comfortable. The new lights make it really bright at night so people with night classes will feel safe walking in the parking lot.

    Lincoln Land Community College is the go-to institution for excellent education and a great atmosphere. With the perfect class sizes and instructors that make time for one-on-one help, your in great hands the whole way. Not only is the educational experience and expertise fantastic, but it is affordable too!

    Make use of the individual help given by faculty and by the study center. They are all great people who are there just for you.

    You will not leave a single class feeling empty and uneducated. You will be forced to graduate with excellence.
    Food and Dining

    They have a great cafeteria with a subway and a grill type resturaunt.
    What to do for fun

    They have a great student life center, and plenty of pool tables and games to play if you have a mid-day break. Or just go study or relax by the pond and enjoy the sound of the fountain.
    Bang for the buck

    You simply cant beat the awesome education at reasonable prices, especially if after two years you can graduate debt free!

    This college is great for anyone! Especially someone looking for what their calling truly is. With the great people that work there, they are always there to help you find what you need to do for your next step.

    lincoln land community college is a wonderful school with great professors whose main goal is to see you succeed. the adviser's are wonderful in helping make the process easier. the campus sets up numerous opportunities to volunteer both at the campus and in the real world.
    Tips for prospective students

    if you are thinking of going straight to a university with being years in debt, think of the option of going to lincoln land and going two years completely debt free. you get the exact same diploma and take the same classes you would at a university. it was a wonderful option i'm so very grateful for taking advantage of.

    i have thoroughly enjoyed ever class i have taken at lincoln land community college. the professors are wonderful and very knowledgeable. i have learned a lot in my two years attending.
    Dorm Life

    if you are wanting a dorm life, this is not the college for you. since it is a community college there is not a dormitory for kids. you either live with your parents or get an apartment in springfield.

    there are only two places to eat in campus. there is a subway that is run by very friendly workers, and a regular cafe line that is run through nelson's catering. although this is all that there is the cafeteria is spacious, and there is fast food restaurants within 5 minutes of the school.
    What to do for fun

    if you are looking for fun, keep up with loggerpalooza. the club keeps up with numerous fun activities at school to keep kids out of trouble. we once even had a sky diving simulator. that was a blast to do in between classes.

    absolutely!! if i had to choose the best thing about lincoln land community college it would be the fact that i can say i am receiving my associates degree in two months and i am completely debt free!
    Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus

    there is the ring of fire. really it's just a big metal circle in front of the school. what is it for?? students to this day are completely clueless. no signs or anything in front of it. there is a joke between me and some other students that on graduation day they light the metal ring on fire and we get to ride our cars through it. if only that were true.

    this school is great for students who may need extra help. the college has a wonderful math and writing center that goes the extra mile for helping students who need a little boost.

    i am treasurer of the madrigals plus club on campus, which is the choir. there are many other clubs that are available for students to get involved with.

    i can honestly say that even after night classes, i feel completely safe at lincoln land. they just put new light poles in the parking lot to make it brighter and they have cops everywhere.

    I have enjoyed the time that I have been enrolled in LLCC. The teachers make there classes fun where you are eager to learn receive a rewarding experience from it. The teachers are also helpful. LLCC also provides many helpful services such as the learning lab. Any time I ave needed help I have always been able to get it at llcc.
    Tips for prospective students

    Just be ready to learn. Do not procrastinate on assignments or asking for help.

    there are many different clubs at llcc that always have some entertainment going on. We having a semi- formal homecoming dance soon.

    I am learning a lot. Most of the professors here are over qualified for teaching at this level and they are always eager to help you one on one.

    I would suggest coming here for your freshman year. Take a hefty course load, work hard while the work is cheap, and transfer out.

    Parents, students with low high school GPAs or ACT scores since when you transfer those fall by the wayside, students with low income or in need of financial help.

    Appling yourself is a given when you think about attending college. Here at Lincoln Land Community College you’re not just a pawn in the big scheme of things but Kings and Queens of the most important decision of Lincoln Land Community College. Attend LLCC and you will immediately notice the special attention and focus students are given...because we are not just students, we are the future.
    Am enjoying being here

    The atmosphere at Lincoln Land Community College is very welcoming and student oriented. With faulty waiting to assist when needed and Deans and Councilors ready to guild you when you’re confused; LLCC is a great choice. The class sizes are max of 25 students but on average 15 - 20. That alone allows LLCC to bring about a whole new type of catering for the students of their college and they do so darn well. You have to see to believe, start with a visit to the campus first or simply call; you’ll see.

    College is a valuable and wise life investment, would you agree? Would you also agree nothing beats free but free it's self. That being said, Lincoln Land Community College alike any other college has a price. What makes LLCC stand out above the rise is its price. LLCC ranged top 5 in the less expensive college in the mid states. For an average of $1,500 - $ 2,500 a semester ($90 per credit hr) you can receive a two year degree, an Associate, for $6,000 - $10,000; if you know you receive FASFA you’re already set to go. Over 90% of the students at LLCC receive FASFA and typically upon that they also receive cash for $200 - $900 for other expenses like transportation.

    If you're stuck choosing between a College and a University to attend, starting small and building up is a wise choice. Attending Lincoln Land Community College allows you to obtain an associate degree for more than half the price you'll pay a University to attend for two years. Also, with the economy as it is now, LLCC provides ensures that you will depart with a degree as long as you have the desire to obtain it.

    ALL - especially those who have started college but for some unfortunate even has been unable to complete it. LLCC is the best choice for all by far.
