Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot The professors are all very down to earth. Professors here understand what information and knowledge is needed in the real world and wont try to fill your head up with unnecessary jargon.
Am enjoying being here There is nothing better than a beautiful campus with an even more beautiful view. The campus and people are so relaxed. Don't be surprised if you see a few people tanning outside in the summer months. Its hard to miss home when your school has more palm trees than a vacation resort. Convo hour (Tuesdays and Thursdays 12-1) is by far the best idea I have ever heard of on a college campus. There is nothing better than a school wide hour without classes, not to mention the concerts, fairs, and yard sales.
Bang for the buck So its a little pricey. What great school isn't? Believe me, this education is worth it.
Tips for prospective students Get involved!
Go to Convo hour events!
Check out the Lion Den and the Living Room!Great for these types of students Students who enjoy a more artistic, liberal view would enjoy Loyola Marymount. Even if your major is math or science, you can't help getting into some of the events. Outgoing, active students would absolutely love LMU.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot I have been able to learn so much from just one year at LMU. Since LMU is a private catholic university all students do have to take a philosophy and theology class, which at first I thought were going to be horrible but actually they were really interesting and not at all what I would have expected. All the teachers here are extremely helpful and always there if you need help, even if they don't have office hours that day.
Am enjoying being here LMU was my dream school and it has lived up to every expectation I had. Of course the transition to living on a college campus took a little time to get use to but the key is to just get involved. There is so much to do on campus like Greek life, service organizations, sports, and a ton of different clubs.
Bang for the buck Private Catholic University= extremely high tuition rates but I feel like if you put in the effort in your classes and your social life you will get back everything you are paying for. One of the best things about LMU is that it is such a small campus that it's really hard to get lost and the biggest class I have had so far is 25 people and next semester I'm taking a class with 6 people. I love the small class sizes because then you are able to make a more personally connection with your professors which is great when you need a letter of recommendation.
Tips for prospective students Don't focus too much on the social aspect of college at first because it becomes really easy for you to get lost in your class work and with the high price tag on this college most students definitely try to get out in 4 years, if not sooner, to save money.
Great for these types of students Focused students who have a pretty good idea of what they want to major in, otherwise it could be a big waste of money for you.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot Well, what can I say. I just finished my first semester at LMU and I am loving it! The first thing I told my dad when he picked me up last week was, I think I learned more this semester alone at LMU than during my four years in high school. You might think that my high school was bad but it was actually a very hard school. I just think that the way professors at LMU prepare class makes it very interesting and encouraging to pay attention. Another neat thing at LMU is that the average class size is 25 students. This is really cool because almost every professor knows you by your name and encourages you to visit during officer hours. Working with professors during office hours is the best. They are very helpful and at the same time fun. During the semester my english professor helped me with my essays at least ten times! Where else can you can get all this attention?! ONLY AT LMU! LMU is the perfect place to learn! The professors and the classes offered are the best! I am so anxious to start 2nd semester.
Am enjoying being here LMU is in Los Angeles. great weather, great people, beautiful campus, and the beach is short bike away. Marina del Rey is awesome! Where else do you want to be? LMU is situated atop what LMU students call the bluff. It is a very safe and nice area! I love LMU and I am enjoying 100% my college experience at LMU!
Bang for the buck Yes LMU is very expensive but every penny you pay is worth it. There are so many opportunities and things to do in school. LMU has Division I sports (soccer, tennis, basketball water polo...), sport clubs(soccer, tennis, rugby...), intramurals very popular at LMU (football, indoor/outdoor soccer, tennis, ping pong, basketball) random fun clubs, frats, sororities, service organizations, study groups, and dorm activities. When I arrived to LMU I was overwhelmed by all the opportnities offered. I wanted to do so many things. I was very excited and signed up for a lot of things. This semester I did a little bit of everything. Feed the hungry (make sandwhiches for homeless in Santa Monica), El Espejo (mentoring group), MeCha group, Tennis club, and LBSA (latino business student association). Next semester I plan to be in Crimson Circle, a service organization and in my dorm activities group. Before coming LMU I was very nervous and a little stressed that my parents where paying so much money for college. After finishing my first semester I now know that the cost of LMU is worth it. Both the Academics and the Extracurriculars at LMU are the best!
Tips for prospective students Visit the campus before applying or registering. LMU is very beautiful and clean don't get me wrong but LMU is also a very small. If you are looking for this kind of campus I think LMU is your best choice. Before choosing your dorm visit the dorms during an open house. There are some new dorms and some very old ones. I am in rosecrans and even though its fun it is also the oldest dorm in LMU. Rosecrans can get very dirty sometimes. So if you are a very clean person stay away from Rosecrans. I suggest the new Del Reys either North or South. Both of them are awesome.
Great for these types of students I think that LMU is a great place for everyone but if I had to choose I would say outgoing and active people. LMU is a campus that encourages you to stay active and participate. There is always something going on! I also think this campus is for very laid back people. According to me and fellow students the campus has a very California GO LIONS! ROAR!

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot There is a wide range of classes you can take as well as a lot of professors who are more than willing to help you to succeed academically. It is also easier to learn when the class sizes are 30 or less.
Am enjoying being here The campus is so beautiful, and the atmosphere is so welcoming and fun. There a lot of things you can get involved in on campus to make your experience what you want it to be.
Bang for the buck It is a pricey school to attend, but it is obvious why when you see all the materials and resources you have access to and how all of the buildings are set up. There is also a lot of free stuff that the school provides.
Tips for prospective students Look at as much of the school as you can. If you can, stay overnight with a host. Look at all of the dorms, and decide which ones you like best. If you attend the school, go to Convo; it's the only time during the day on Tuesdays and Thursdays when no one has classes. Try to join a club/organization, sports team, service organization, or a fraternity/sorority so that you have something else to do other than schoolwork.
Great for these types of students Students who like small class sizes, a liberal arts education, well-rounded experiences outside of the classroom, more resources available than can be used, and being involved on or off campus would enjoy going to LMU.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot Being from a big high school, it's great to still have a small class size class in college. The average class size of all my classes is about 20. Professors know each student by name and even take attendance which can be a nuisance if you skip class a lot but on the other hand can help you out by forcing you to not skip class and stay on top of your school work. Professors encourage office hours and it is a great opportunity to be able to get to know them on a personal basis.
Am enjoying being here While the party scene is not big here, the student body is constantly having events on campus that will suit everyones needs. However, LMU is a type of school that if you seek it, you will find it. If you are a party animal or interested in an occasional party or two, then there is greek life which would satisfy everyones needs. Greek Life is a pretty big part of the social scene but if you are more reserved, there is always the option of Service Organizations. While LMU is a small private school, LMU offers a little bit of everything, and everyone can find their own niche here.
Bang for the buck There are many well-to-do type of people that either are students or associates with the school, and as a student you will be able to network with them. The school is constantly having different types of speakers for all sorts of majors come on campus and have meet and greets and speeches to talk about their profession. Furthermore, there are many workshops, especially for freshman, that can help you build your resume, develop better study skills, and even offer free tutoring/essay revisions in the The Learning Center. If you need help in any way all the staff and professors are available, and are willing to go out of your way to help you succeed.
Tips for prospective students If you qualify for financial aid check out the Student Worker Program. Go to LMU's website and type in Student Worker Program and you can get all the information there. While this program gets confused with work study, the Student Worker Program is completely different. Work study only offers $2,200 to $3,500 to work for while in college, however, the Student Worker Program offers an unlimited amount, which means you can make anywhere between $20,000-$32,000 while in college. While it is a lot of hard work, being in this program has allowed me to come to a great university and not have any debts/loans to pay off after college.
Great for these types of students Small college
Small class sizes.
Personal relationships with professors.
Would like to have a good connections/networks
Want to go to a private school without the pressure of religion being overbearing.
LMU is a home away from home.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot The professors and resources here are all great at what they do. As a result of the smaller classes, teachers tend to care more about each individual student. Knowing my name when called on makes a huge difference in my motivation and my willingness to participate in class.
Am enjoying being here I don't think that there is a more beautiful campus in the country. There are are so many resources here that I have yet to take advantage of. The city of Los Angeles is close by and there is never a shortage of things to do on the weekend.
Bang for the buck LMU is one of the most expensive schools that I applied to, but they also offered a lot of merit money, allowing me to come here. If you feel like LMU is a good fit for you, just apply and see if you can afford it with the amount of financial aide they offer you. You might be surprised.
Tips for prospective students Do your best in the first semester at school. Instead of doing a lot of extra-curricular activities, choose a couple and spend a lot of time on those. Quality always trumps quantity.
Great for these types of students LMU is great for the student that wants a school that fosters a sense of community. It's not a huge state school, yet it's not a small liberal arts school, it's got the best of both worlds. The school lacks some school spirit (mostly because there is no football team), but everyone on campus seems to get along well. The university and the location in Los Angeles allow for countless of opportunities during and after your time at LMU.

Categories Rating Comments Will learn a lot Based on my tour of the school, it seems like all of the professors are very involved with their students and enjoy what they do. The environment seems very conducive to learning, without having the too over-the-top studying every minute vibe. Seems like a great place to spend four years.
Will enjoy being here Location is wonderful - being from Southern California, I know the places I'll want to have close access to during my college years, and this school definitely lives up to my expectations from the brochures and website.
Bang for the buck Granted I don't go to this school (yet?), so I can't completely answer this, but based on what I know, you get a lot of benefits such as gym membership, health services, car rental plus gas money, etc. included in the tuition cost. The campus life, plus benefits, and living environment is definitely worth the cost of tuition.
Tips for prospective students The campus is very well taken care of. All of the planters and groomed, and there is no trash anywhere. The buildings are taken care of, and everywhere you go it is a welcoming environment. If this is the sort of campus you are looking for, this is a wonderful school for you.
Great for these types of students Students who want to be able to do a lot of different things within the boundaries of the campus, but still have a ton of opportunities to spend the afternoon nearby at fun, young locations, this is the campus for you.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot Since I first began college here, I was extremely nervous. I chose to attend a private university after four years in a public school environment. What I learned was remarkable. My professors were wonderful educators, learning and knowledge always the main goal. But at LMU the professors are inspiring, they are dedicated, and they are always there to help.
Am enjoying being here I would love to add a full five stars because LMU is an incredible school and I have made more friends than I ever imagined. But I am from Miami, FL and Miami is my home, so I do tend to get homesick often since I am on the opposite side of the country. It has been quite an experience moving all alone to a completely new state.
Bang for the buck Yes, tuition is expensive. But there are more than enough scholarship opportunities through LMU and other outside sources. LMU also has an amazing program in which they offer students jobs all over campus in a variety of different places. I work on campus in the Rec Center and I love it. I do have to say though, you get what you pay for. The campus is breathtaking, the education is enlightening, even campus security is there whenever needed.
Tips for prospective students For other students coming from out of state, I say give it a shot. It has helped me to learn so much more about myself in the process. I've gained independence and such a profound sense of self having to go about this life altering process alone. It was quite a learning experience, one I would relive over and over since it brought me to where I am today.
Great for these types of students It is a Jesuit school, as most know. I am a Jewish student attending a religious school. It was a hard concept for my parents to grasp but I have learned so much and never once felt different for being raised on opposing beliefs. So I would not narrow this down to any specific types of students. I believe we can acclimate anywhere if we really want to.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot LMU creates the leaders of tomorrow. With required courses including philosophy, students are encouraged to utilize critical thinking, and rationalization skills. All of the teachers are enthusiastic about their class, and they are there for the student.
Am enjoying being here This was the only school I pictured myself at. Its small enough to meet a lot of people, but big enough to always meet new people. There are a lot of commuters, but most students live around the campus, which is great.
Bang for the buck Being a private institution, it's vey expensive. However, the connections you make, and the resources of the career center help students find jobs no problem.
Tips for prospective students Have a financial plan before you start school. You don't want to be scrambling for money two days before your payment is due. Also, make sure you park in your designated parking lot, Public Safety will obliterate you with parking tickets.
Great for these types of students Its great for everyone really. Unless you want to go to school with tens of thousands of other students. It's a more intimate environment, and a beautiful campus.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot LMU's goal is to have every graduating student leave campus with a well rounded education. The requirements of a degree entail not only courses from your major, but courses that further develop your knowledge of life. I have learned things from Economics, Philosophy, History, even English classes that I have found more than useful outside of class. The professors give you the tools to be able to carry yourself strongly outside the classroom and into the real world.
Am enjoying being here I have found my true friends after coming to this school, so believe me when I say that LMU is more than just making friends with your peers. I had an emotional and somewhat traumatic event happen to me in the first semester of Freshman year, and I considered transferring. Yet, I found out that LMU's faculty is there for students in more ways than just helping them pass courses, they are there to be the shoulders to cry on when everything else seems hopeless. I would not have been able to pull through my first semester without the aid of certain professors as well as people within the parent-student relations department on campus. As a sophomore, I could not imagine going anywhere else.
Bang for the buck This school is more on the pricey side, but you learn so much more. For my major, Film Production, I was torn between being frugal and going to a UC, or attending LMU and paying twice as much. However, I have been exposed to more hands on experiences than I would have at any UC offering film. Also, professors allow you to express your mind openly and argue socratically during classes. The tuition is more than worth it for film kids. Also, the opportunities they have for networking within the film industry is phenomenal and mind blowing. If you want to get every penny's worth, then LMU is definitely the University a high school student should look at.
Tips for prospective students Make sure when you are thinking of applying to LMU, you consider your major or area in which you will be studying. Each college is different in terms of course requirements. For instance, Engineering is more demanding in terms of hours spent in labs than English, where the hours are spent writing papers. Choose the area you feel most passionately about. The rest will all come naturally.
Great for these types of students Great for students who are liberal thinkers. Those who voice their opinions and like to be heard will definitely be more than welcomed here. We think outside the box and enjoy people from all walks of life. Those who want to make memorable experiences in college should apply.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot The professors here are very friendly and, for the most part, know what they're talking about. I have never had a bad teacher, only one or two who I didn't get along with. My friends rarely have complaints as well.
Am enjoying being here I love LMU. As I said, my teachers have all been fantastic, there is a great mix in the kinds of people you can meet, the housing and educational buildings are very nice (very up-to-date), and the campus itself is located in a very nice area of Los Angeles.
Bang for the buck The housing could be a little better, but other than that I feel it's just about worth about. It is quite expensive, but the teachers and facilities are great, so I can't complain. Also, they have great scholarship packages and one can earn a good deal through work-study.
Tips for prospective students The film school is very competitive, so be warned if you're applying for that.
This is a Catholic school, but it doesn't show very much. There are a lot of theology classes on Christianity but there are a good number of non-Christian classes (Buddhism, World Religions, etc).Great for these types of students All types of students can be found on-campus, so it's easy to fit in, and there are plenty of majors to choose from.

Categories Rating Comments Will learn a lot The focus on academics is good I'm sure, but it wasn't as stringent as some of the other schools I looked at. The job placement program seems fantastic- the agency at the campus will find you a job/internship anywhere you want to go, not just in LA.
Will enjoy being here This campus is GORGEOUS!
Tips for prospective students If you're interested in study abroad, it is possible here, but there's not a strong emphasis.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences 1. At LMU, I have witnessed the Jesuit mission integrated into the everyday curriculum, emphasizing social justice in many subjects.
2. The professors are incredibly dedicated, and I am so thankful to have small classes where I can get to know my professors.
3. Finally, there are so many ways to get involved at LMU, including, but not limited to fraternities and sororities, theater productions, sports (official and club), multicultural organizations, and on-campus jobs.Tips for prospective students The biggest tip I would give to prospective students is to have an open mind. It is important to have goals and expectations when you're about to enter college, but I've learned that things can change quickly, and you have to keep an open mind to adapt to those changes. Keeping an open mind also involves not closing yourself off to a particular group or activity just because you would not think about participating in it beforehand. It's important to put yourself out there at LMU because there are so many ways to get involved. Besides keeping an open mind, I advise everyone to live on-campus for their first two years at LMU because the residence halls are so much fun. That's another great way to meet people and make friends. Last but not least, I encourage all prospective students to stay on track with their academics. LMU is challenging, but the professors are dedicated and always willing to take extra time for students. Finally, go to the library! The William H. Hannon Library is amazing. It has three floors, great study spaces, 20 large group study rooms, about 70 brand new Apple computers, and a delicious coffee shop, Jazzman's.
Academic Rigor On a scale of one to ten, LMU's academic rigor would rank at about a seven. Although all the classes are challenging, I would say that courses within your major are the most difficult. Courses within your major are taught by professors who know the subject inside and out, so they expect a lot from their students. I usually have several papers a month, with about four major paper assignments over a semester. Midterms and finals are obviously the most stressful, and I believe that students across the board with all different majors find themselves heavily stressed. I spend about 20 hours a week on studying, assignments, essays, and research. Although 20 hours may seem like a lot, it's really not in the grand scheme of things. I feel challenged, but not overwhelmed, and I think that's a perfect balance.
Dorm Life Dorm life is great at LMU. RHA does a great job of providing resources and activities for the residents. They plan things like laser-tag trips, retreats, Lakers/Dodgers/Galaxy game tickets, art projects, and even cooking projects. First-year students usually live in a traditional dorm situation, sharing a room with another person, with one large bathroom centrally located on each floor. This is definitely an adjustment, but it ultimately causes residents to interact in the hallways and in the lounges. Second-year students usually live in a suite-style setting, with a roommate and two suite-mates that are connected by a private bathroom. This is really nice and allows you to choose to live with your friends. Third and fourth year students are not guaranteed housing, but the facilities are apartment-style settings with a full kitchen, dining room, and living room. All three different options encourage students to get to know each other and to explore LA.
Food and Dining This area is probably my only complaint about LMU. First-year students report enjoying the food on-campus more than any other grade simply because people get sick of it. There is really not a lot of variety, and the food just doesn't taste that great. Once you've eaten it for a year, you don't really want to eat it anymore. The best place to eat is Roski Dining Hall in University Hall. The breakfast bowls, lunch wraps, and sandwiches are delicious. Sometimes the Lair, the main cafeteria, will have comfort food at the Malone Market like macaroni and cheese, chicken, and mashed potatoes. The Lair does have good salads, too. Iggy's is a 50s style diner centrally located on campus with great milkshakes and breakfast served all day. Besides that, there is a Starbucks, Jamba Juice, and Quizno's all on campus. Those are good options as well. The Lion's Den has the best coffee on campus, and I like how it is run and employed by fellow students. Honestly, if there would be more variety and better dining hours (Roski being open on the weekend, for instance) I would enjoy the food service at LMU much more.
What to do for fun LMU is very lucky to be located where it is. Venice and Santa Monica are five minutes away, Hollywood is 20 minutes away, and Disneyland is about an hour away. On campus, there is always something to do. Whether it's open-mic night, Hall Brawls, or playing a pick-up basketball/soccer/baseball/football/frisbee game, you'll never be bored at LMU. Every Tuesday and Thursday at noon, there is the Convocation Hour, or Convo, where there's food, free prizes, and live music. Fraternity and sorority philanthropy events are also a blast.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus For freshmen, it's customary to be thrown into the Foley Fountain on your birthday. It's cold, but it's a great memory and kind of like a rite of passage. For seniors, it's a tradition to slide down the huge LMU letters on the bluff before graduation. Everyone also thinks they've seen and heard ghosts in pretty much all the residence halls, so it's fun to joke about that, too.
Greek Life There are six official sororities and five official fraternities on campus. Needless to say, Greek life is not huge at LMU. That being said, it's very fun to be apart of it. As a member of a sorority on campus, I know how beneficial membership is. The organizations put on great philanthropies and parties. I believe Greek life is definitely more focused on the social aspect, but there is a lot of hard work and charity done in each organization. Moreover, there are no official houses or a Greek Row at LMU. If you are looking for a hardcore Greek life experience, you might consider USC or ASU.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences It's in a beautiful location - it sits atop a bluff overlooking Marina del Rey. Its campus is filled with green. It has state-of-the-art facilities that will obviously be beneficial in academics.
Tips for prospective students Ask questions! Don't be afraid to have your voice heard. As a relatively small school, each opinion is valuable.
Academic Rigor From a biology student's point of view, this school looks challenging. At first glance, I was uncertain about my success coming from a liberal arts school and with a BA instead of a BS. However, my fears were soon put to rest; they have excellent opportunities, ranging from research programs to ACCESS programs, and everything in between.
Dorm Life They have a dorm for everyone. Their dorms range from co-ed to single-sex, with some co-ed dorms having gender separated by floor, and others separated into wings. They also have a progressive dorm system: freshmen get traditional residence style dorms, sophomores get suite-style, and so on.
Food and Dining On and off campus, food is abundant. On campus, they have a great food hall, as well as several coffee carts, a smoothie joint, and a coffee house. A little ways off campus, they have a shopping center with all other usual LA commodities - a cafe, frozen yogurt, and a sushi bar. Because it's LA, it also has an abundance of restaurants around.
What to do for fun It's in LA - there is fun for days. It's right by the beach; it has bicycle trails nearby; there is also a movie theatre a few minutes away. You can take a trip to Beverly Hills, Hollywood, or any other LA place you'd like.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences LMU has a beautiful campus with lots of potential for student involvement in clubs, sororities or fraternities while maintaining high academic standards. It is a jesuit school, but there is no mandatory religious involvement.
Tips for prospective students They are looking for highly motivated students who can show that they have the potential to contribute to the LMU community. Show them how you can shine in your essays, let them get to know you through your goals and don't hold back about what you've achieved so far!
Academic Rigor I was in the Psychology departement and they emphasize your understanding of research within the first two years to give you a solid basis for your upper division classes. They are challenging but well worth it, your professors care about you and the school isn't so big that you can't get to know your teachers. As far as GE's don't take on more than you can handle and find out about the exectations of a professor from past students before signing up for a class.
Dorm Life Can't comment on this one because I never lived on campus.
Food and Dining Sodexo runs the food services at the school. It's expensive because you're buying each item individually rather than getting three meals a day for example and being able to get whatever you want within your visit. There are many choices but not always the healthiest options, in my last year we wrote letters to the president asking to provide more varied options for vegetarian, gluten free and overall healthy dietary needs.
What to do for fun ASLMU, the student government on campus, plans some fun events throughout the year, and the 100+ on campus clubs are always hosting different fundraising or social events. Convo hour twice a week is dedicated to allowing for free time when everyone if off of class at the same time in order to allow for different events and groups to meet. Check out the pool, and tennis courts that offer lessons year round. I love their yoga classes during convo hour and they were some of the best I've found even compared to off campus studios. Off campus we're not far from the beach in Marina del Rey or Venice.
Bang for the buck This was an expensive education, there's no way around it. To get the most out of it you really have to be involved and take advantage of the huge alumni network to start reaching out to people in your field that have you shadow them and offer advice.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus I always lived off campus so I liked to grab a boba from the little stand to the right of the water fountains and head to a quiet spot on the bluffs to read.
Great for these types of students People who want to network and be part of a larger group community.
Clubs and Activities There's so much to pick from! I was part of Lebanese club but there were so many other options and ways to stay active on campus.
Greek Life They were very welcoming when I was first considering a sorority but couldn't afford the extra cost so I can't really comment.
Campus Safety This is one of LMU's strong suits. Campus safety is available 24-7 to do anything from walk you to your car to driving you home from a place close to campus if you don't feel safe by yourself. They provide their number to every student and encourage everyone to keep them informed if they ever need help.

Categories Rating Comments In three sentences With the smaller size, you always see a familiar face walking to each class and it has a beautiful campus. The professors want you to do well and know every individual in their class, which helps for a better learning environment. It is also in a perfect location, so you can quickly get to the beach, Hollywood, Disneyland, or other fun attractions.
Tips for prospective students When you begin your classes talk to your professors because they love when students approach them in their office hours. Also, learn to manage your work and study more than the night before an exam because the tests shocked me at first. There's always chances to meet people, so sign up for all the events they offer because they are a lot of fun!
Academic Rigor This all depends on your major. If you decide to be in the science or engineering department, your workload and the difficulty is going to be much worse. But for the most part, if you put in the effort and begin to study a few days in advance, the teachers are not too difficult.
Dorm Life Dorms are always going to be small, but the Del Reys are very nice and have a quiter atmosphere. Then some of the other dorms are lively at night, which a lot of college students want. Almost every freshman and sophomore live on campus, so you constantly see friends and have fun.
Food and Dining The food gets old quickly, but that is expected for any campus. If you take a slightly longer walk from the dorms there is also other food that is very good and a restaurant that serves better food. I would suggest getting the lowest meal plan and getting other money to spend off campus for every once in a while.
What to do for fun Since it's in a great location the beach is only ten minutes away, which gets very popular when it is warm outside, and there are also several malls close by and the farmer's market in Santa Monica is very fun to go to. It is in the perfect location for many big attractions, like Hollywood or Disneyland, and you can get there within half an hour. On campus, greek life and service orgs are very popular and a lot of fun because there are many activities to do with them.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Every Tuesday and Thursday we have something called Convo which is from 12-1:30, where no one has classes. There are food trucks, free food, a farmer's market, and booths set up by different people. The first and last ones are really fun because they have a lot of activities and free giveaways.
