Categories Rating Comments In three sentences This is an accredited school that provides an excellent education. It is not only one of the best nursing schools in the state, but also the nation. The faculty are very helpful and supportive.
Tips for prospective students Get ready to devote the majority of your time to your studies. Working full time and attending school full time can be very challenging, but with dedication one can still excel. Have a blast on the journey, you're going to meet some great friends!
Academic Rigor This program is very intense, but very worthwhile. Study, do well on exams, and your final at the end of the semester will be a breeze. Open up to an entirely new though process your professors will open your mind to.
Dorm Life I lived off campus.
Food and Dining The cafeteria food is good but pricey. Most students chose to bring their own lunch. You are given an hour for lunch break.
What to do for fun We didn't do very much as a class except for an occasional happy hour. Most of us had very different schedules, as well as families.
Bang for the buck I couldn't recommend a better school to attend, especially if you live in Houston. It's a great education with strong comraderie among the students and faculty.
Great for these types of students Dedicated.
Clubs and Activities Student government, other nursing organization meetings and groups.
Greek Life None here I'm afraid.
Campus Safety You must wear a badge at all times, and there's a security officer in the entrance to the building that will stop you if you don't have a badge.
