Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot Wayne College has a lot of great professors, but to ensure that you won't end up with a professor you may not like sign up for classes early and talk with the professor teaching the course before you sign up. Each professors teaching style is different.
Am enjoying being here I really enjoy going to Wayne College because the campus has a small town feel. All of my professors know me by name and try to ensure that I am receiving the education I should. Class sizes are small.
Bang for the buck Wayne College is a regional campus of the University of Akron, therefore, costs are less at Wayne than they are at main campus. Apply early to ensure that your application will be reviewed for scholarships.
Tips for prospective students Apply early and take a tour through campus. While at campus ask to sit in on a class most professors would not mind. Be prepared to study for every class you have especially science and math. Don't be afraid to ask for help; help is always available at the learning center. I would also enter college with an open mind to meet new people and explore diverse ideas.
Great for these types of students Small town people who want to start their education, but later want to go to main campus. Wayne college offers the introductory major courses and general education requirements, but you will have to finish your bachelors degree eventually on main campus.

Categories Rating Comments Am learning a lot The teachers are different in their own way, some more strict than others and whatnot, but I've definitely learned a lot from all of them :)
Am enjoying being here I love where I am right now :) I don't go to the main campus in Akron, but stay local in the Wayne and Millersburg branches. It's wonderful that I can easily drive to the college and still be home for dinner.
Bang for the buck They're really generous when it comes to scholarships, and even hand out the extras that hadn't been claimed midway through the year, which is awesome for the students who's wallets are getting tight after that first semester :)
Tips for prospective students Definitely talk with both an academic and financial aid advisor early, really early, like months before being accepted :) they can help you understand what they have to offer you, that way you don't miss out on any funding you could've received.
Great for these types of students I'm not sure about the main campus, but Wayne college is great for it's small town feel. It's literally in the middle of a corn field and I love it that way.
