Visit the campus and make sure you feel comfortable there before classes start.
Ask a lot of questions and get as much information from staff before making a decision.Academic Rigor For the accelerated program, the academic rigor is fairly high. Most students will not be able, or are not recommended to work at all outside the program. The weekends will be needed for research, papers and study time.
Dorm Life I don't know what the dorm life is like because I have opted to live off campus and don't know anyone who lives in the dorms.
Food and Dining I also don't know what the food and dining is like, because I have not had a meal/drink there. I start school this June.
What to do for fun There are a lot of parks in the near vincinity. La Fortune park has a great trail, outdoor park and picnic tables. Right across the street from the OUHSC Tulsa campus , there is a large shopping mall, that includes a movie theater and gym. A few miles away there are popular night life areas such as the Blue Dome District, Cherry Street, and Brookside. Most all locals can direct you on how to get there.
