Categories Rating Comments In three sentences I like the small campus that Salkehatchie offers. It allows for more individualized attention and helps me to understand the information easier. The smaller class sizes allow ease in asking questions and getting important information.
Tips for prospective students Prospective students should prepare for challenging classes, but also realize that they are going to have a great experience.
Academic Rigor The classes are challenging but can be easily managed with studying and commitment.
Dorm Life There are no dorms at Salkehatchie, which means you will have to live in the town surrounding the college. If you have family or relatives near by it is not that big of a deal, but for students without the option of staying with relatives, It can be a burden as they will have to rent a house or stay in an apartment.
Food and Dining There are many different restaurants and fast food chains nearby. One could enjoy a dinner at one of the restaurants or get food on the fly if need be.
What to do for fun Students can enjoy a movie at the local movie theater, they can enjoy the beauty of nature at one of the nearby trails, or participate in community events.
