    Did learn a lot

When it comes to receiving an education, Xavier University means business. Teachers and even peers are there to help you along the way. Attending this school means putting education first and everything else last.

    Did enjoy being here

Attending Xavier University allows you to view many aspects of life. By being at such a prestigious institute you get a feel of the education life, the road to success. Being the school is fairly small and urban you get a more family feeling because you get to meet and know everyone. By the campus being located in New Orleans, you also get to experience what everyone come to New Orleans for: music, lights, fashion, entertainment, and best of all MARDI GRAS!

    Bang for the buck

Xavier University might seem costly, but it is definitely worth every penny. Xavier really gives you the true meaning of education. The people are there for you and to serve only YOU.

    Tips for prospective students

Be ready to learn. Take advantage of the knowledge given to you.

Great for these types of students

Xavier University of Louisiana is a great University for students that are goal oriented and dedicated. This university is for those that like to have fun but buckle down on work when it is time. Xavier also consist of many clubs, organizations, and programs that you can benefit from. Take advantage of that. They are there for you. If you are a responsible individual and is great when it comes to decision making, Xavier University of Louisiana is the place for you.

    Am learning a lot

At Xavier professors care, they are always available to you. Xavier being a small school your classes are a lot smaller and you get the chance to interact with your professors and really get an understanding of what they are teaching. Also when you don't understand professor's make sure that they do whatever is necessary for you to understand the material. All professor's offer office hours and are usually in their offices before and after those hours. At Xavier you always have a chance to learn no matter what it takes or how long it takes for you to understand the material.

    Am enjoying being here

Xavier is a very small school so the campus is very intimate. You get the chance to know everyone. Our campus is very active there is usually an event going on no matter what day. The Fraternities and Sororities are very active on the campus and give you multiple opportunities to do volunteer work and just to be involved with the community. We are not the biggest party school but campus life is great. Safety is also a top priority on the campus

    Bang for the buck

Xavier is definitely worth the money because you can go to no other school and receive a better education. This is true because you are given the chance to succeed. The school works with you no matter any issue you may. Money is never a problem because if you do the work the school will work with you to keep you in school and try to do as much as they can to help you stay in school.

    Tips for prospective students

Always be ready to work when you come to class
    Always use planner
Utilize the fact the professors are constantly there to help to you
Organization is the key to a smooth college life and transition

Great for these types of students

Great for students who need a lot of attention.
Students who enjoy a more personal relationship with a professors

    Am learning a lot

I didn't know what to expect when I started school at Xavier. In my first year experience i can truly say i learned a lot. I learned a lot educationally and personally. I learned a lot from the teachers and i also learned from the students that i shared my first year college experience with.

    Am enjoying being here

Xavier University is very focused on educating their student in the best way. Yet there is still time for you to enjoy the college experience and meet great people from all over the country. There are many clubs and organizations you can be apart of. As long as you are willing to go out and join the fun you will enjoy it.

    Bang for the buck

For a Catholic Private school, Xavier is not as expensive as most private schools. You are not just a number in the classroom, your teachers know you by your name. The teachers are always will to help you get ahead. The compassion that the teachers, faculty and staff is like no other. There are also tutoring labs that are at no extra cost to you and there for your benefit.

    Tips for prospective students

    1. Be prepared for everything
    2. Taking advantage of your resources
    3. Be organized
    4. Don't be afraid to experience the college life. Enjoy it while you can.

Great for these types of students

Determined, strong willed, willing to work and study hard

    Will learn a lot

Xavier University is made for those students who want a education. The library and all the staff give you the tools you need to succeed. Nothing is impossible here. You can never feel alone when you are in class or out studying with friends.

    Will enjoy being here

The students, teachers, Faulty and staff are REALLY great. Plus you're in the middle or a great city. When you first come to XAvier you will surely see for yourself what i mean.

    Bang for the buck

YES, it does cost a lot, HOWEVER.....a great education is an investment to your life. They have the best technology available, free of cost, to you in the library. The cafeteria is so nice. You automatically get internet hook up in your room and free phone service. They have teachers who are with you the WHOLE way and more than 80% of Xavier's students graduate. What more is there to say...its a great school and is totally worth it.

    Tips for prospective students

Be prepared to study. Have lots of dedication and network. You can never go wrong. Be open to new ideas and be organized. That is the key to success in college. Always manage your time. ANd just be ready to enjoy your next step in life.

Great for these types of students

Those who really enjoy school. Those who have big goals and want to reach them. This school is for any student who is prepared to be focused in school. Its not what you call a party school, so scratch that off your list, however you do get to enjoy the wonderful events of the city right at your back door.

    Will learn a lot

As one of the best schools in the world with pharmacy, I plan on learning a variety of things at Xavier University of Louisiana. The school has so much to offer and lots of experiences that will enhance my well-being in life. During my visitation, the atmosphere was very welcoming and the learning environment seems like everything will work out for the best.

    Will enjoy being here

As the old capital of Louisiana and the most popular city in Louisiana, New Orleans is a place I enjoy being in every time I visit. Of course, I will enjoy myself because there will be family, friends, and my school. Basically, New Orleans is a place I can call one of my homes because I always used to visit and it is a city where I will never run out of things to do.

Xavier is a wonderful university for those who are very interested in learning. The work load isn't too much but it also isn't a walk in the park either. At xavier they give you the right amount of work to help your mind.

    Am enjoying being here

i love being at Xavier! the people are very friendly and if you ever need any type of help they have dedicated staff that will assist you with any problem.

    Bang for the buck

considering the education you receive while attending xavier its a great price!

    Tips for prospective students

ASK FOR HELP WHEN YOU NEED IT! the staff at Xavier are there for you whenever you need them.

Great for these types of students

Pharmacy and Pre-Med students. They also have a wonderful engineering program for african americans

    Am learning a lot

I learned so much in every class. At first I thought it was overwhelming. There are tutoring centers and you can go see professors during office hours. They are all there to help because believe me, this school isn't easy. But it is definitely worth the struggle.

    Am enjoying being here

I absoutely love it here. The weather is very pleasant all school year. I've meet some of the most amazing and open people I could ever imagine meeting. Most of the teachers are really nice but of course there are always a few exceptions. I find plenty to do from on campus yard events to parties. It is very easy to get around the city also.

    Bang for the buck

XULA is a little expensive. I haven't graduated yet but hopefully its a bang for the buck. They do have a lot of pointless things they charge you for.

    Tips for prospective students

Time management. Its necessary. There is so much work to be done and they all have deadlines however you do not want to be just about school. You definitely want to have some fun too, to relieve stress.

Great for these types of students

It is great for students who are determined and not put off by a heavy work load. Also, it is great for students who are not lazy. Its a lot of work, so if the student isn't willing to put in the time for it then this is not the school for you.

    In three sentences

On a scale of one to 1o I would give Xavier a 7. It is still a growing school, full of amazing students, alumni, and faculty who are more than willing to help with any and all problems.

    Tips for prospective students

If you are not into science, this school may not be for you. There are other programs here but science majors are paid the most attention.

    Academic Rigor

It actually depends. If you are a science major 4 stars. Anything else, three stars. Most of the non-science majors I know have more free time than I do.

    Dorm Life

There is never a dull moment living in St. Katherine Drexel Hall!

    Food and Dining

If you get bored with the same foods easily I suggest going outside of campus or ordering takeout at least once a week.

    What to do for fun

During Homecoming and Springfest there is plenty to do (Dorm Stepoff, concerts, block parties). There are also many educational forums however a lot of them occur during the day so many Freshman cannot attend due to classes.

    Bang for the buck

It is more than what I expected. This was the cheapest college on my list. Worth the money.

Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus

Our gym was called the Barn. But it was closed last basketball season to build a brand new gym.

Great for these types of students

Science students. science majors, science, enthusiasts!

    Clubs and Activities

Many clubs that do various things from NAACP, to Sociology club, Chemistry club, campus ministries...etc.

    Greek Life

VERY big! At many large events Greeks come out full force.

    Campus Safety

Feel very safe. There is always campus police patrolling and willing to give a ride back to the dorm after late night studying. There are blue call poles in case trouble happens.

Xavier has a great science program for those interested in majoring pharmacy or bio med. They have strict curriculum on chemistry and biology classes but it is to prepare you for graduated college. For example in chemistry lab, they give you a basic guideline for chemistry procedures.

    Am enjoying being here

Xavier University is all about studies, but there are many clubs to join and sports to participate in. It was a confusing at first, but soon it got bearable.

    Bang for the buck

Not exactly bang for a buck. Maybe if the food they served improved, then maybe.

    Tips for prospective students

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ....Don't sleep in class. Paying attention in class is the first step in passing your class. Next always have a buddy you can trust at that college because in college, teachers WILL NOT baby you, you are responsible for keeping up with the work. Lastly, homework first, then play later.

    Am learning a lot

My professors are very explanatory in what they teach. Many professors bring in visual aids and take time to draw diagrams and pictures on the boards. Overall, I do learn a lot because of the efficiency of the professors and the school. They do not play. If you do not plan to take the classes seriously, do not attend because they definitely make you work for your grades.

    Am enjoying being here

I really like the classroom setting. None of my classes are too larger. My professors actually know my name and they openly answer and ask for questions during lecture. Many of the professors also go out of their way to help you succeed.

    Bang for the buck

Take advantage of the free tutoring centers. There is a biology, chemistry, english, and math tutoring center that offer peer tutoring for most of the day. The library offers a very quiet study atmosphere especially if you are lucky enough to get one of the quiet rooms. Each student is assigned to a specific adviser in your field that you are expected to meet with once a week. They keep you in the right direction. Also, the drill class for chemistry, although annoying sometimes, allows for more instruction time during chem lecture classes.

    Tips for prospective students

Try to get living arrangements off campus because the freshman dorms are not that great. They are one bedroom, two people, with community bathrooms. There is no kitchen. The only thing you can use is a microwave in the lobby area of each floor. The centralized air conditioning is also annoying because often times it is way too hot, especially during winter.

Great for these types of students

Students that truly care about furthering their education in the medical field definitely important here. Although the school does have Art and Music majors also, most of the attending students major in a science or math. The Science department is phenomenal.

Xavier University is a liberal arts black university. So the type of learning environment is well-rounded and one that is (one on one learning). You as a student really get a chance to get personal with the instructors and if you truly need extra help there are other resources to help you learn and understand the material.
    1. Tutoring Centers for each subject like Math,Reading, and Writing are open mostly all day until 8.Also on Saturday from 8-2pm

    2. The professors make themselves available through office hours(You can ask them for them before or after class)

3.Students are also kind enough to help eachother out by tutoring in open study areas. The smartest thing to do is to exchange cantact information with studious students and ask for help. Most of the time there willing.

    Am enjoying being here

If you are a student here, you might have to become creative in your social life. Xavier doesn't offer much social life on campus, it being that its very small. A student doesnt get a true college feel because: 1.there is a neighborhood on campus.
2.there is a lack of a pool, student center, frat houses, and extra social structures in general.

However, there is a University Center (a single building) where students can go to the cafe and eat, participate in open activities between classes, and also dances, public speakers, and seminars that come to the school.

Being only 5 minutes from the french quater is helpful, so if you find a friend with a car that would be a good idea since Xavier does not have a shuttle system.

Aside from that there are great organizations to become involved in like:
    1. Clubs (biology,prssa,student council,etc..)
    2.Groups (sorority,fraternity)
    3. Gold Star Dance Team, XU Cheer, X-Factor(Dances with the drum line), Pom Squad, Tennis, Basketball, Track, Cross Country,Volleyball

    Bang for the buck

Im just going to say that Xavier is known for its MEDICAL program and getting african americans into medical school. So if your desire is to belong to any medical background then it is deffinately worth the cost. However, I feel that if you are in any other field it is not worth spending your money at a school in a subject it is not known or successful for. Xavier stresses it's medical programs so the other majors can feel some what ignored. So if your aspiration is to become a doctor, pharmacist, dentist, or anything of that nature; then Xavier will be right for you.

    Tips for prospective students

Students should become prepared to attend class. There is an absence policy.

Students should have a planner to help improve timemanagement skills and write down assignments and future due dates.

Apply yourself in classes, show your professor your interest and they might help you out on a recommendation letter in the future.

If your not from New Orleans, be ready for a culture shock.

Safety, especially on campus being that is in open.

Be prepared to see nuns throughout the campus and greet them with respect as well.

Great for these types of students

Students who are social butterflies and feel that a social life on campus should play a huge role in their college experience: B E W A R E!!
Students who can adapt to any culture, like to attend HBCUs,like warm weather (rare to snow in the winter), want to work in the medical field, and are studious and creative when it comes to social life; come to Xavier University of New Orleans.

This is a great school! The professors definitely care about you and your well being. The professors know their material and know how to break it down for your understanding.

    Am enjoying being here

I love it here!! I wouldn't have wanted to go anywhere else. It is tough though and you have to make your own fun, but in the city of New Orleans that is definitely possible. This university is the only Catholic HBCU.

    Bang for the buck

This private institution is VERY expensive and competitive. Its well worth it though. You will graduate and be ready for the next level. This school is ranked NUMBER ONE for placing African Americans in medical school.

    Tips for prospective students

Learn how to study and stay focused. Don't get behind on any readings or projects.

Great for these types of students

Biology majors, Pre-pharmacy majors, medical students, chemistry majors. Music majors and social sciences. This school has its own pharmacy.

    Will learn a lot

The professors at Xavier seemed very good. They were interested in helping students learn, and there seemed to be a good student-faculty relationship.

    Will enjoy being here

I think that Xavier is really not in the best part of New Orleans, and I wouldn't like living there. There is a big commuter population at Xavier and the ages of incoming students ranges greatly. All told it is not for me because these factors make the school less of a community.

    Bang for the buck

Xavier is relatively cheap for what it offers, but since it is not extremely well known it does not get as much private endowment to use towards financial aid.

    Tips for prospective students

Check out the campus and surrounding area. Definitely sit in on classes that interest you, and most importantly: try to talk to current students to get a feel for the campus atmosphere.
The people in admissions and financial aid offices were really rude to me when I was applying. I actually decided not to go to Xavier for many reasons, but also because I could not believe how I was being treated by the staff just for simply asking if my file was complete for application ad if they'd received all my test scores, etc. I didn't want to deal with this for the next four years. I go to Loyola University New Orleans now and love it.

Great for these types of students

Pre-pharmacy, pre-med, liberal arts, locals, minorities.

The course load is ridiculous to you at first but there is so much that you are learning. I know that I am learning a lot because when I go to other schools students look confused when I mention some of the things I discuss in my science courses.

    Am enjoying being here

I am envolved on campus in social clubs, student government association, and honors programs.

    Bang for the buck

It can be a little high if you are not a Pre-med student you probably would wonder where you money was going but they have so many great programs and tutoring centers.

    Tips for prospective students

College is an experience unlike an other that you will get to have. In my time at my University in New Orleans, I have been exposed to a variety of people and have found out so much about myself. I believe that these past two years have been a time of me getting to know myself, my goals in life, and the type of people that I want to share my success with. In my Freshmen year I tried out for my Universities cheerleading team, when I did not make it I was crushed, but I knew that I had to refocus my priorities so I put academics first and got a 3.7 GPA my Freshmen year. In my Sophomore year things changed and my academics were not so great, I recently had to find a new way of studying because what I thought worked in High School didn't work in college. I guess my best piece of advice would be enjoy the time, ask for help, and don't be afraid to make mistakes because that what college really is, learning from those mistakes and learning about yourself.

Great for these types of students

Goal oriented, focused and serious about becoming Doctors. If you are looking for a part than this is not your school.

    Tips for prospective students

DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL IF YOU ARE A INDEPENDENT STUDENT (NO MOMMY AND DADDY HOLDING YOUR HAND AND PAYING FOR THINGS FOR YOU) AND YOU DON'T HAVE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS!!

THIS SCHOOL ACCEPTED ME AND TOOK ALLLL OF MY MONEY. THE FINANCIAL AID DEPARTMENT WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I SPOKE TO ABOUT 14 DIFFERENT PEOPLE (AND MOST OF THEM SOUNDED AS IF THEY WEREN'T EVEN QUALIFIED TO BE WORKING IN THAT DEPARTMENT) WHEN FILLING OUT MY FAFSA AND THEY TOLD ME THAT I WOULD BE GETTING A FINANCIAL AID CHECK IN THE MAIL. I AM AN INDEPENDENT STUDENT AND I LIVE IN MA. WHERE I HAVE NO FAMILY AND NO HELP SO I WAS REALLY DEPENDING ON THIS CHECK TO GET ME DOWN TO LA FOR COLLEGE. 1 DAY BEFORE FRESHMAN ORIENTATION STARTED, THEY FINALLY TOLD ME THAT THE FINANCIAL AID CHECK DOES NOT GET DISBURSED AND THAT I WOULD HAVE TO GET IT IN MY HAND AT REGISTRATION. SOMEONE ELSE TOLD ME THAT I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL 2 WEEKS AFTER SCHOOL TO GET A REFUND CHECK.

THIS LEFT ME 3 DAYS TO SCRAPE UP ALL OF MY SAVINGS AND I HAD TO LOAN MONEY FROM FAMILY AND FRIENDS JUST TO GET DOWN TO LA TO TRY TO GO TO COLLEGE. A FRIEND OF MINE ALSO WENT WITH ME BECAUSE I HAD A REALLY BAD FEELING ABOUT THIS SCHOOL AND I DID NOT WANT TO GO DOWN TO NEW ORLEANS ALONE.

WHEN I FINALLY GOT TO NEW ORLEANS, LET ME TELL YOU, THE PEOPLE IN THAT CITY WERE EXTREMELY RUDE AND VERY BITTER. THAT WAS THE MOST RUDENESS I HAVE EVER SEEN IN ANY CITY. THE CITY LOOKED LIKE A RAN DOWN PROJECT/HOOD (EXCEPT FOR THE RICH PARTS THAT THEY SHOW ON TV. DON'T LET THEM FOOL YOU. THOSE COMMERCIALS ARE TO LURE PEOPLE/TURISTS IN FOR $$$). EVERYTHING WAS EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. IT COST ME $60.00 TO TAKE A CAB FROM A HOTEL NEAR XAVIER (BECAUSE THE HOTEL OWNERS LIED TO ME OVER THE PHONE AND TOLD ME ONE PRICE BUT WHEN I ACTUALLY SHOWED UP IN PERSON, WANTED 3x THE PRICE FOR THE ROOM) TO A TRAVELODGE IN THE WESTBANK AREA. WHILE MY FRIEND AND I WERE IN THE CAB, THE DRIVER TOLD US THAT XAVIER WAS A SOMEWHAT GOOD SCHOOL BUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD AROUND IT WAS HORRIBLE. SHE SAID THAT GIRLS GET PULLED IN THE ALLEY AND RAPED AND THAT THE STUDENTS GET ROBBED ALOT BY THE NEIGHBORHOOD FOLKS WHEN THEY ARE WALKING AROUND TOWN NEAR CAMPUS. THE NEIGHBORHOOD BY THE SCHOOL WAS HORRIBLE. IT WAS SMACK DEAD IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HOOD.

WHEN WE FINALLY GOT TO THE TRAVELOGE A MAN TRIED TO LURE MY FRIEND AND I IN A DARK CORNER TO ROB US SO WE HAD TO HURRY INTO THE ROOM. THE PEOPLE WERE EXTREMELY RUDE, BITTER, AND CREEPY. AT ONE POINT I ASKED SOMEBODY FOR DIRECTIONS AND THEY LOOKED AT ME UP AND DOWN AND SAID I'M NOT TELLING YOU NOTHIN' AND WALKED AWAY. I WAS APPALLED.

THE FIRST DAY IN NEW ORLEANS MY FRIEND AND I CAUGHT A BUS TO THE FRENCH QUARTER (THE BUS DRIVER WAS EVEN RUDE AND GHETTO - YELLING AT THE PASSENGERS IN A VERY HATEFUL AND IGNORANT MANNER. ON THE EDGE FOR NO REASON AL ALL) AND A MAN TRIED TO ROB US IN PLAIN VIEW (MEANING WITH LOTS OF PEOPLE AROUND) FOR OUR AIR JORDAN SHOES.

WE THEN RUSHED BACK ON THE BUS AND INTO OUR HOTEL ROOM BECAUSE WE NO LONGER FELT SAFE HERE. I EVEN SKIPPED AN APPOINTMENT WITH A CLINIC HERE TO GET MY SHOT FOR SCHOOL BECAUSE WE WERE VERY TIGHT ON MONEY AND I COULD NOT AFFORD TO SPEND $70.00 ON A MENINGITIS SHOT, PLUS I HAD A BAD FEELING ABOUT XAVIER BECAUSE THEY WERE ACTING REALLY FUNNY EVERYTIME I SPOKE WITH THEM, LIKE THEY WERE LEAVING SOMETHING OUT. MIND YOU, I WAS STILL UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT I WOULD GET MY FINANCIAL AID CHECK BECAUSE OF WHAT MY COUNSELOR (MS.KECIA POPLUS) TOLD ME SO MANY TIMES BEFORE. SO I FINALLY CALLED AND TOLD HER LOOK, I'M IN NEW ORLEANS AND I'VE ALMOST GOTTEN ROBBED, KIDNAPPED AND EVERYBODY IS EXTREMELY RUDE AND I AM HAVING THE MOST HORRIBLE TIME. I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, MY MOTHER IS DECEASED AND I HAVE NO FAMILY. I NO CLOTHES, NO BED SET, OR NO NECESSITIES FOR SCHOOL. I JUST WANT TO KNOW IF I AM GETTING A FIANCIAL AID CHECK SO THAT I CAN PAY XAVIER TO REGISTRATE BECAUSE IF NOT, I AM NOT GOING TO THE CLINIC TO PAY MY LAST $70.00 FOR A MENINGITIS SHOT AND I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND XAVIER SO THIS IS VERY CRITICAL. SHE SAID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. NOT A I'M SORRY OR COME DOWN TO XAVIER AND WE'LL HELP OR PLEASE DON'T BELIEVE THOSE RUMORS ABOUT NEW ORLEANS JUST COME TO XAVIER AND WE'LL STRAIGHTEN THIS OUT OR NOTHING. SHE HUNG UP...SHE HUNG UP.

HERE'S THIS SCHOOL THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE CATHOLIC AND YOU TURN YOUR BACK ON A TEENAGER WHO IS TRYING TO DO THE RIGHT THING AND GO TO COLLEGE?

THIS SCHOOL ISN'T WHAT IT IS PAINTING ITSELF TO BE. IT'S JUST ANOTHER MONEY HUNGRY UNIVERSITY. DON'T ANYONE TELL YOU ANY DIFFERENT. I'VE WITNESSED IT FOR MY SELF AND I AM NOT LYING. DO NOT LEAVE THE COMFORT OF YOUR STATE/HOME TO COME DOWN TO NEW ORLEANS. DON'T BE BLINDED BY THE CITY AND THE PORTRAIT THAT THIS SO CALLED CATHOLIC SCHOOL IS TRYING TO PAINT. WOULD A CATHOLIC SCHOOL HAVE TURNED DOWN SOMEONE IN NEED WHO WAS GENUINLY TRYING TO GO TO COLLEGE? NO.

THIS BEAUTIFUL CITY AND SCHOOL THAT I HAD SEEN AND HEARD ABOUT SO MANY TIMES WAS NOTHING LIKE IT WAS PORTRAYED TO BE.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL TO NO ONE. THEY LIED TO ME, TOOK MY MONEY (APPLICATION FEES,RESIDENCE FEES,AND SHOT FEES) AND THEY DIDN'T GIVE A DAMN. THIS IS NO PLACE SOMEONE WOULD WANT TO BE. AND THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND THE IGNORANT PEOPLE OF NEW ORLEANS JUST MAKES IT ALLLLL THE WORSER.

GO TO UNIVERSITY OF MASSACHUSETTS AT DARTMOUTH.

IT'S A MUCH HIGHER QUALIFIED SCHOOL FOR LESS MONEY, IN A GREAT ATMOSPHERE AND THEY ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT YOUR EDUCATION AND WELL BEING. NOT JUST YOUR MONEY!!!!

They was surprise that Xavier offers free tutoring. They have a program called SAS and its for students who didn't do all that well on the SAT or ACT and they help you along the way. They will get you extra tutoring if needed. The professors at Xavier have an open office policy so if you ever need any extra help you just have to go seek them. The work is extremely hard but they are preparing you for your future whether after graduation you will be enrolling in graduate school or jump right into the work force. Another thing at Xavier is the professors now your name, you are not a number.

So if you get rejected from any other institutions just know that Xavier has your back and will put you to work and challenge you so that you can successful and not a statistic.
