Phi Theta Kappa Award

Scholarship Description
Award Amount:Arizona resident $4,000 / Non-resident $5,000. Availability: Renewable for total of four semesters. Criteria: 1.Complete UA admission application on file in The UA Office of Admissions. 2.Have a 3.50 recalculated cumulative college grade point average at any Arizona community colleges. 3.Completed 36 units at time of UA admission application. 4.Be a member of Phi Theta Kappa in good standing for at least one year prior to UA admission. Eligibility for these awards is based on the strength of the applicant pool. These are competitive scholarships and students who meet the criteria for consideration are not guaranteed an award. First review for scholarship consideration will begin in March for students who enroll for the first time in the fall semester (This award is not available for students who intend to make the spring semester their first semester of enrollment at UA.) This awards is renewable if students satisfy the renewal criteria as indicated in the letter of award. Top transfer students enrich the environment of The University of Arizona in and out of the classroom. It is our hope that the expanded scholarship program will enable transfer students to participate more fully in the vibrant academic life of our community.
