HOPE Teacher Scholarship

Scholarship Description
This lottery-funded program provides forgivable loans to students seeking a master's or specialist degree in critical shortage fields of study which include middle grades education with a primary concentration in math or science and special education. Eligible students will receive $200 per semester hour. Recipients are obligated to teach in their critical shortage field in a Georgia public school one academic year for each $2,500 awarded, with a maximum of four years to repay. Applicants for the HOPE Teacher Scholarship need only complete the HOPE Teacher Scholarship application.
