The aim of the Wilson awards is to provide opportunities for MIT graduate students to explore a program of research and/or study of an important societal problem with international dimensions. The award enables students to spend around 6 weeks in a foreign country, pursuing a project that would have excited the interest and enthusiasm of Carroll L. Wilson ('32) in honor of his career achievements and long-standing legacy.
