Qualification Criteria
The Scholarship is awarded based on the following:
Academic Level/Class: Graduate / All
Undergraduate / All
Major in Department: Food Science & Human Nutrition
Undergraduate students in Dietetics, Food Science and Nutritional Sciences
The applicant will be requested to state how their career plans relate to nutrition and food science with an emphasis on the Gonzebach Fund for Student Mentoring and Research.
The awardees will be selected based upon the application, academic scholarship, a statement of career plans and the review of a concept proposal for mentor-based research.
Graduate students in nutrition and food science actively engaged in research:
The applicant will be expected to have relevance to nutrition and food science with emphasis in the objective of the Gonzenbach Fund for Student Mentoring and Research:
To create “an enhanced understanding of the associations between dairy-based foods, nutrition and health”.
Applications will be sought annually with the award to be administered as a stipend.
The application will include biographical and academic information as well as a research proposal statement by the student in accord with the Gonzenbach Fund for Student Mentoring and Research.
