Miles College Alumni Association - Atlanta Chapter Scholarship
Criteria For Scholarship–2008:
Be a Georgia Resident For a Minimum of 6 months.
Scholarship amount up to $1,000 for unmet qualified college expenses (tuition fees, room and board and books).
Be classified as either an undergrad freshman thru Senior in the School of Liberal Arts.
Scholarship does not cover Summer School.
Possess a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 or higher.
Be a Full Time Student.
Write a two (2) page double-spaced, twelve (12) fonts, typewritten Essay stating career goals and how the scholarship will help achieve those goals with a Cover Letter.
Essay and Cover Letter must be received to the Miles College Alumni Association -Atlanta Chapter.
The Miles College Alumni Association – Atlanta Chapter, must receive a copy of the most recent ‘Grade Report’ or ‘High School Transcript’ . Freshmen and Transferring students entering Miles College for the first time must provide a copy of ‘Final Acceptance Letter’ from Miles College. If student does not arrive and enroll at Miles, Scholarship will be revoked and returned to the Miles College Alumni Association – Atlanta Chapter.
Applicants will be Eligible for scholarship only one academic year.
While it is the wish that everyone receives a scholarship, not everyone will. You will be judged on:
