- Qualification Criteria The Scholarship is awarded based on the following: General: Leadership Minimum MSU GPA: 3 Academic Level/Class: Undergraduate / Junior Undergraduate / Senior Major in Department: Horticulture Must be a full-time student Must demonstrate a desire to pursue a career in horticultural industry The recipient must have demonstrated sound academic achievement by maintaining an overall 3.0 GPA during their freshman and sophomore years of study. The recipient must have demonstrated sound character, leadership skills and good, responsible citizenship through participation in extracurricular activities.
