Scholarship Description
Sadovszky International Research Award Amount: $300 Established by: This award was established to recognize Anthropology students who have done, or propose to do, anthropological research outside of the United States. It is named after its founder, the late Professor Otto Von Sadovszky, a former Anthropology department faculty member who encouraged student research at all levels. Comprehensive application information and instruction on applying for this award is available online at the Department of Anthropology award website, anthro.fullerton.edu/scholarshipsandawards/anthAwards.htm. Open to: This award is open to new and continuing Anthropology major or minor students who are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree. Criteria: Proposal Application Procedure: 1) Download an application, available from the Department of Anthropology award website, anthro.fullerton.edu/scholarshipsandawards/anthAwards.htm; 2) Write a Curriculum Vitae (CV) of your academic career and interests; 3) Write a proposal using the published format on the Department of Anthropology website, selecting one idea from your a) future work, b) completed work or c) ongoing work; 4) Make four copies of all of your application materials, and assemble each set in this order a) application form, b) CV, and c) proposal; 5) Staple each set in the upper left corner; and 6) Submit all four sets to MH-426D.
