Arline B. Buley Endowed Scholarship Fund

Scholarship Description
First preference will be given to a full-time undergraduate student(s), as defined by the University, entering his/her sophomore, junior or senior year. If a qualified undergraduate candidate cannot be selected a full or part-time graduate student(s) may be selected. The undergraduate student(s) must be majoring in Library-Information Service. The graduate student(s) must be enrolled in the Master of Library Science (M.L.S.) degree program, the Master of Science (M.S.) degree program in Instructional Technology, or the Sixth Year program in Library Information Studies. The student recipient(s) must have a GPA of 3.0 or better. The financial need of the applicants will be considered. The student(s) contributions to the University and/or the community may be considered. Arline B. Buley Endowed Scholarship Fund was established by David Buley in honor of The his mother to assist students attending Southern Connecticut State University majoring in Library-Information Service within the Department of Library Science and Instructional Technology.
