Scholarship Description
Awarded to the top incoming freshman in Early Childhood Education. It is not offered every year. Recipient may continue to receive the scholarship for up to 4 years if GPA of 3.2 is maintained and full time student status in Early Childhood Education is maintained. The scholarship was established by Mr. Robert T. Gunter to honor the exemplary 35-year career of his wife, Mrs. Cornelia "Connie" Wright Gunter, a West Georgia alumna and a teacher in the DeKalb County School System.
