Caylor-tozer and phi alpha theta paper awards

Scholarship Description
Every year the history department strives to give two awards for excellent student papers. The Caylor-Tozer Award is given to the best undergraduate paper written during the school year; the Phi Alpha Theta (PAT) Award is given to the best graduate paper written during the school year. Both awards include a certificate and a book. Caylor/Tozer Undergraduate Paper Award and PAT Graduate Paper Award nominees submit papers approved by their history professors (turn them in to the history department office L-192). The papers are voted on at the end of the school year by a faculty committee, and are then submitted to the full faculty for approval. If you feel you have a paper worthy of submission to receive one of these awards, please work through the history professor you wrote the paper for and then submit it for consideration if approved by that faculty person. These awards are given at the College of SSPA's Scholarship and Awards ceremony each September.
