Scholarship Description
Established by the French family as a tribute to the memory of Lieutenant Colonel Travis A. French. Major / Specialty: Military Science College / Academic Division: Arts and Sciences Eligibility Criterion: 1. Recipient(s) must be a MS II cadet. 2. Recipient(s) must be in the top 33% of his Military Science class academically. 3. Recipient(s) must be in good standing academically with the University. 4. Recipient(s) must have demonstrated leadership potential. 5. Recipient(s) must enroll in the Military Science Advanced Program. Should the recipient(s) fail to enroll in the Military Science Advanced Course, the award monies will revert to the Military Science Department for selection of another recipient. Selection: Selections of recipient(s) will be recommended according to individual selection criteria with final selections made through the ULM Scholarship Committee. Award: The award varies based upon the scholarship criteria and the spending policy of the ULM Foundation. The specific award amount can be obtained through the scholarship contact.
