Scholarship Description
The recipient will be a student from any Effingham County high school who has been accepted to Eastern Illinois University. Preference will be given to incoming freshmen. However, if no suitable incoming freshman is found, the recipient may be a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior already attending EIU. The recipient must be a Biological Sciences major with an interest in conservation or environmental sciences. The recipient must have an overall GPA of 2.5. Financial need is a requirement. The recipient must demostrate successful leadership and positive moral character regarding civic and extracurricular student activities.
