Academic Scholarships for High School Seniors

Scholarship Description
Awards of $2,000 for students who have demonstrated a commitment to both a post-secondary foodservice education and a career in the restaurant and foodservice industry. Applicants must be high school seniors and: have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75/4.0; have a minimum of 250 hours of foodservice-related work experience verified by pay stubs or letter(s) from employer(s); have applied and gained acceptance to an foodservice-related-post-secondary program, either full-time or substantial part-time (9 credit hours), and plan to enroll in a minimum of two terms of the school year (verifiable by submitting a copy of the acceptance letter from the college or university); and submit a letter of recommendation on letterhead from a current or previous employer.
