Peter Weiss Journalism Scholarship

Scholarship Description
This scholarship is established by family and friends to commemorate Peter Weiss’s work in journalism as the long-time publisher of The Jersey Journal. Two scholarships are awarded each year to freshmen students enrolled at NJCU who have shown an interest and expertise in journalism. Successful candidates must demonstrate an interest in journalism as a career, possess a cumulative 2.4 grade point average, and have participated in the school newspaper or any other campus medium. Applications will be reviewed and a recommendation for award will be made by the journalism faculty.
