Jonathan Wende Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship Description
Established to support student scholarships in elementary and secondary education. Criteria: 1. first or second semester senior to be enrolled full time in even-numbered years to an elementary major with an additional certifiable major or two minors and in odd-numbered years to a secondary major--double major--one major must be geography or single broadfield social studies major with geography minor. 2. at least a 3.0 gpa. 3. financial need should be considered. 4. highly successful in pre-student teaching clinical experiences. 5. evidence of an understanding of child or adolescent development and ability to develop a positive working relationship with students. 6. evidence of basic understanding of sound principles of teaching and learning.
