Presidential Fellowships

Scholarship Description
Presidential Fellowships ($12,000 â?? $15,000) are awarded annually to qualified freshmen. Because the Presidential Fellowship is renewable, provided the recipient maintains a grade-point average at HPU of 3.25 or higher, the total value of the Presidential Fellowship is $60,000. In addition to the Presidential Fellowships, recipients receive a $1,000 stipend to be used toward a short-term Study Abroad program. The average SAT score of past Presidential Fellowship recipients is 1340 (critical reading & math sections). The average ACT score of past Presidential Fellowship recipients is 30 (composite score). The average GPA of past recipients is 3.86 (unweighted), and these students graduated in the top 10% of their class. These are not the only factors that determine scholarship awards and the quality of each yearâ??s scholarship applicant pool may change these averages.
