Presidential Freshman Scholarships

Scholarship Description
National Merit Finalist * $20,000 ($5,000 per year for four consecutive undergraduate years, payable in equal amounts each semester if all renewal criteria are met). Each installment currently represents nearly 100% of the current North Dakota resident tuition rate for a full-time student at UND. * In addition to the Presidential Scholar award, National Merit Finalists sponsored by UND will receive an annual stipend of $1,000 per year from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. 3.65 GPA or above (or minimum battery average GED score of 610) and 32-36 composite ACT score or 1400-1600 math & reading combined SAT score: * $12,000 ($3,000 per year for four consecutive undergraduate years, payable in equal amounts each semester if all renewal criteria are met). 3.65 GPA or above (or minimum battery average GED score of 610) and 29-31 composite ACT score or 1290-1390 math & reading combined SAT score: * $10,000 ($2,500 per year for four consecutive undergraduate years, payable in equal amounts each semester if all renewal criteria are met).
