The purpose of the M.Ed. Initial Licensure Scholarship is to support aspiring teacher candidates in their studies in either the School-based M.Ed Program or the M.Ed. Professional Teacher with Initial Licensure program.
Qualified students must first be accepted into one of the above programs and then complete an application (see below) which must be turned into The Graduate School for approval. The Scholarship applies to approved coursework that is part of the student's program. The scholarship is not automatically awarded and may not be applied to previous semester. The duration of the scholarship is the length of the program, normally not more than five years.
This scholarship does not apply to Post-Baccalaureate Education Students, nor does it apply to non-matriculated or transient students
