Scholarship Description
Department: Earth & Planetary Science. Purpose: Astronomy Student. Description: This memorial scholarship was established in 1997 and is awarded to an astronomy senior or first-year graduate student who is pursuing a degree in astronomy. The scholarship is in memory of Dr. Scott who played an important role in the negotiation of the Perkin Fund, a grant which allowed WestConn to obtain an automated 20-inch RC telescope. Amount: Scholarship.
